Easily the best hostel I've stayed at in South America. Staff are friendly, helpful, and speak English perfectly. The hostel itself is very clean and just a few blocks from the main bus station. And the breakfast buffet is far superior to that of most Brazil hostels and actually fills you up.
Spacious, clean, good facilities, great breakfast, a nice break from the usual bunk beds, more like a hotel than a hostel. Loud music in the reception area was kind of annoying as there is loud music on the first floor in the bar too, so no quiet places to chill out. Apart from that, a good place to stay overall!
Close to bus terminal. Very clean hostel. More of a hotel really. Great breakfast for South American standards. Informative staff except some didn't really know all the information. Would highly recommend. Happy hour for caipirinhas were great and strong. Suggestion for transfer company to communicate more for the visit to the falls on the Argentinian side. Some people didn't know about having to exchange Brazilian reais into pesos before going. Otherwise great stay.
Happy hour every night from 7pm bought everyone together which was really good. Wide range of food for breakfast. Only annoying thing was I was on 8th floor where the wifi was patchy.
Che Lagarto Hostel Foz do Iguacu is easily one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. It almost felt like being in a hotel although I was in a 4 room dorm. Security was top notch. Location was close to the airport and the waterfalls and close to nice restaurants. Very clean - spotless! Was such a great price. Only criticism is needing a stronger air con as it does get a little hot in the rooms - especially when the power went out, I don´t know if this is a regular occurence.
This was the best hostel i have ever used. It is runs like a hotel, very clean, think about every custem. Even help custem organese taxi for airport. Thire traspotation program is very good also.
Love this place. Perfect. Che Lagarto are by far the best chain of hostel in south America
Really clean and safe hostel. No bunk beds in our 4 bed dorm. Was more like a hotel than a hostel. Breakfast was really good. Staff were helpful, except when we asked which bus to catch to get to Puerto Iguazu, we were informed that it was really hard to get there by ourselves and the staff member really tried to push us to buy an organised tour instead. We did it ourselves anyway, and it was really easy, not hard at all like we told.
Superb! Best hostel in south america so far =) Do not miss the happy hour!
I would highly recommend this hostel (hotel?) to anyone visiting Foz of Iguacu, although more for convenience and cleanliness than for the vibe. The dorms have single beds, which is a refreshing change if you've been backpacking for a while and the facilities are brilliant. The kitchen is great and the roof terrace is perfect for watching the sunset, plus the staff behind the bar are good fun. One massive bonus is the huge breakfast!
This about as clean, well designed hostel as I have ever seen, nothing left to mismanage. Bfast was excellent, rooms, even the dorm had single beds, A?C, great Bathroom, so clean and the mattress is high Quality.
Staff were brilliant and the room was better than most hotels
As I read in reviews before stayin here this place seems more like a hotel than a hostel but the price is right! Staff were excellent and so helpful! Wifi signal was awesome so could finally FaceTime or Skype home! I Plan to stay at more of these hostels around SA. .

Staff are very helpful. Buffet breakfast, rooms very clean, and lockers bit enough to store your belongings. Kitchen doesn't seem to have enough tools so maybe that can be improved
A hotel with several beds in the room. Was fairly clean. Nothing really great nearby other than the gym and burger joint around the corner. Pool was large enough for 2 kids and the hot tub constantly had screaming kids. Not much of a vibe Decent breakfast
It was more like a hotel..very clean and spacious room.. very close to restaurants n bars n market and even the bus station..the staff was very helpful specially their Supervisor Beatrice..she has all the information one could ask for n if she dont..then she knows just the people for that..she was extremely helpful. Had a very comfortable stay..will definitely stay here again if in town.
Very nice hostel, felt more like a hotel than a hostel really! Clean, modern rooms and nice bathrooms with hot showers. Good breakfasts with lots of selection. Would definitely stay here again!

Had a great stay at this hostel. Individual beds. Breakfast is excellent. Nice rooftop area which is good for meeting people when getting the free caipirinha!
More like a hotel. Stayed in a private room and it was lovely. They put on a serious spread for breakfast
Excellent location if visitng the Iguazu Falls. The cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in, lockers that fit your whole rucksack in so excellent security. Only downfall was that the wifi only really worked in reception and not in my room but a small issue. They also have two computers for free use which were hand, staff were happy and attentive and great breakfast. Would 100% stay here again if visiting iguazu falls.
