One of the best sleeps I've had so far in South America. Great beds and the bathrooms were super clean. Staff were very helpful and the band that played on Thursday night was incredible. Gret cocktails too!

Staff is chilling instead of working over that place. Cool to stay a few days and enjoy the island but be aware! You need to walk 5 m. through a stinky bing lane..more than you can never imagine

OK hostel that could improve. Great location near town, and acess to trails/beaches. I found the staff were helpfull, but not very warm. We were in the 'deluxe' female dorm, which cramed 6 beds into a 4 bed room - add the poor air con and low ceilings, it was really hot and unconfortable. The wifi was terrible in lounge, and non-exsistant in rooms. The hostel is also in desperate need of a drying room (its so humid it takes 2 days for bikinis to dry!), and it takes 2 days to get laundry done.

Everything was very good, the location was perfect and the staff was helpful and friendly. Though the wifi could be better.

Che Lagarto is excellently located and has a beautiful terrace at the sea. The room (2 bed private) in itself was good, it could have been a bit cleaner at the beginning. It would have been good if they changed the towels after some days (due to the humidity we had trouble to get them dry). Since most of the staff is from Argentina (and not all of them know English very well), some knowledge of Spanish is really helpful. Apart from that, Che Lagarto is a cool and affordable place to stay at IG.

Really rude, unwelcoming staff. Extremely unhelpful when i made queries i had.

The hostel was ok. But WIFI didn't work for the three days I was there and that was terrible. Air conditioner didn't work the last night. Locación was good and breakfast was fine. I wouldn't go back.

Be professional enough to handle your guest. Ive been moved three times on my 3nights stay and it really pissed me off!

Great hostel, the only 'party' hostel on the island but don't expect a huge party-it's a quiet island! Be careful with your stuff though, my clothes mysterious went missing from the clothes line outside! Otherwise, all great though!

Very great hostel and very friendly staff ;)

the atmosphere was pretty bad, the staff didnt really make an effort or speak anything else than portuguese. Thought the whole experience could of been much better, was pretty disapointed

Hostel was in a great location but wasn't the cleanest!

Great location, staff were friendly. I would recommend.

Great hostel. Location is perfect, staff are very friendly and its probably the best place to meet people on the island.
