I arrived at the hostel at 6 in the morning after a long night bus and at first he didn´t want to let me inside the building allthough I had made a reservation. After a while at last I could get in but only to leave my baggage and then I was sent out to the streets again with the explanation " Our check in starts at 12.30". When I realized he wasn´t joking and that he wasnt gonna let me stay at one of the hostels several sofas I took my bagage and left to another highly recomended hostel The HQ.

I detest that thing they do with the dollar-soles “exchange rate” of their own, you pretty much get screwed if you pay in soles or using your credit card, BUT, truth be told, I enjoyed my stay there, and for an average of seven dollars per night (three nights), I considered it a bargain. AAA location, comfortable beds, nice atmosphere, good breakfast, helpful staff, clean, very well run, lockers inside/outside the dorms, excellent value for money. I would stay there again.
