There was a mix up with my booking, and when I arrived the hostel was actually supposed to be closed. However, the owners were happy to honour the booking and invited me to stay there. The hostel is super clean and the beds were comfortable and new. They had great facilities and the owners were awesome and helpful. I think the hostel would be really cool when it is actually open!

The hostel's not missing anything, they have computers, dinning area, a couple of couches to watch TV or lay down. I liked it a lot.

The staff is very motivated. The place is located really close to the beach and the downtown area. Rooms are clean and comfortable, there's even a lobby to read or watch TV. No problems, thanks.

Not all Che Lagarto's are alike and if you've had a bad experience in one, don't let it stop you from booking Che Lagarto in Mar del Plata. Very clean, good space and location and the staff are unbelievably nice. Close to some good restaurants and short walking distance to the beach, the shops and the central commercial areas. And I cannot emphasize enough how amazing the staff are.

Silvana and Francisco are the best! Super helpful and really friendly, particularly as I was unwell when I stayed there. Great breakfast and the fastest internet at any hostel in South America! Highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful stay! From the room, to the guests, to the staff, to the fastest internet connection I have ever found at a hostel, Che Lagarto is worth every penny!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hostel. One of my favorite hostels and the staff was great! Rooms are very clean and spacious as well as the lounge area. Only thing I would suggest, is that they provide us with towels. Other than that, I was 100% satisfied.

We had an excellent stay, and we were impressed with the staff. The overall atmosphere was great; it was clean and not too noisy. The location's not bad--it's a fairly easy walking distance from the beaches, shops, etc. There was a mix-up with the reservation and I was very impressed with how they worked it out. They have great customer service! Breakfast is good. Only complaint is that there are no dividers in the bathroom for the showers, so we had to clean the water off the floor every day.

Che Lagarto is very complete, they've got fully functional computers, a bar/dinning area which, by the way, was lots of fun. Breakfast was great too.

It was a lousy day when I got there; nonetheless, this hostel became a good friend for a couple of hours. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, you also get your personal locker. Great find for the money.
