the breakfast wasn't good, no eggs or cold cuts nor cheese.

A great price. I stayed in a room with a double and our own bathroom and television. It was fairly clean. The hostel has a nice breakfast. The staff is very accommodating.

I spent two days at Che Lagarto and it was amazing! The staff was beyond friendly and there was always someone cleaning, making me very confortble. The location is excellent (montevideo is pretty small, so it is hard to stay away from everything) and the breakfast was good (in terms of hostel breakfast). Would stay there again.

Rooms are spacious and clean, cenfral bus station is almost around the corner, staff is kind.

The staffs ware very kind, good localization but no hot water for more than 5 minutes to have a shower.

Nice place close to the bus station

Friendly and attentive staff! Very clean hostel! Located close to the bus station and main city bus line! It is possible to not take any taxis!

I think it is important an individual spotlight for each bed.

It is a nice hostel with fun people.

Basic but good for the night, Very helpful an friendly staff.

Very good hostel in every way. Some noise from the street but if you check in to a hostel you should be used to people snoring anyway ;)

1 shower in a 10 bed dorm, kitchen hob is inadequate, it takes forever to even cook eggs. Brekki was decent. No atmosphere in the hostel.

We had a massive private double room here but despite its size there was very little in the room - no shelves or anywhere else to put clothes so everything either had to stay in your bag or go on the floor. The room also had a "kitchenette" with a microwave but there was nothing to use to cook your food in the microwave so it was a bit useless. Communal kitchen area was nowhere near big enough for the number of people and was poorly equipped. Staff were helpful though.
