Clean hostel with a good atmosphere if you speak portugese. Couldn't find many English speakers there, but that's to be expected on a Brazilian island. The staff was very nice and helpful, location was good and close to everything on the island .

First time in Che Lagarto Morro and it was fantastic!! Staff was very nice and helped to meet new people. It's a little bit far from the beach but it doesnt matter when you are in a beautiful island. The room get darker when the window is closed.. so its good to sleep!

We had a great time at Che Lagarto. The staff was very friendly and helpful (although not all spoke the best English). The hostel encouraged social interaction and everyone hung out at the bar at night. Would definitely recommend for young people looking to have a good time, but not if you're looking for a quiet getaway.

The staff were very polite and serviceable, our stay went without any problems. Thank you, Che Lagarto!

The hostel is really big so there are a lot of travelers to hang out with. It has quite the spring-break vibe. The staff is entirely from argentina and their english can be quite minimal but they were nice and available. The rooms are very clean but the female dorm we staid had a very very strong smell of mold and humidity, so maybe get the regular dorm. The common areas are large but not very clean (including breakfast table). The breakfast is very good.

Excellent atmosphere, staff, value for money and location!!

The room were very clean an I was very happy to share a bathroom with only 3 or 5 other people. The staff was very helpful and tried to do his best for making guests feeling well. Breakfast was ok but if it was possible to add ham and cheese, that would be much appreciated! xx

The only thing bad was the musty smell in my room.

It is a good stay in Morro! Make sure, that you dont pay the deposit you already payed on hostelworld. For english travellers it is a bit hard, becuse most of the staff can not help you in English. However they are friendly.

I really enjoyed my stay at Che. The only problem I had was the shower (room 205, I guess). It's not working properly at all.

Its a magical place with amazing people! Definitely the best hostel i ever been, the staff was amazing, lots of activities, dinners every night for a small price and all you can eat, its super safe and the location couldn't be better, its close enough to all the parties and there's no noise during the night. I stayed in a 6 bed bedroom with other two friends and was someone cleaning the room twice a day, so even when the room was with 6 people everything was clean. Stay here when you come!!!

comfortable hostel in a good location! would return, kitchen just needs a few more utensils.

Great hostel, mostly down to the people staying there! The location is great, very close to the boats, so it's a short walk which is great. The kitchen was quite dirty the whole time I was there and the rooms are tiny, nowhere to fit your bag. The chef Marcelo is really great, friendly and helpful with good English which helps a lot as the other staff don't speak any English.

Though a bit far from the beaches the hostel was great. Air con in the rooms and hot water in the shower. Wifi worked great and breakfast was delicious. Great hammocks and common areas to meet people! Computers for guest use..overall we had a great time!

The place to stay in Morro! the staff is the best

The island and the hostel are beautiful. Breakfast is good with lots of fresh fruit and juices. Staff are nice but they usually don't speak English and sometimes not even Portuguese, just Spanish, so it was hard communicating at times.

This hostel is just for young people. Lots of party, cheap dinner, but to noisy and really need maintenance. Recomended if you wanna party

Overall a decent hostel. The bathroom has seen better times and is very small. It can get very noisy from the common area where a lot of argentina backpackers make party until whenever. Locker is available and the rooms get cleaned evey day.

Great hostel, good facilities and nice atmosphere. Quite far away from the beach though, and in a place like morro de São Paulo that's a big minus.. Other than that everything was fine.

A bit walk away from the beach. Not very social atmosphere for a big hostel like this unles you want to get drunk at nights
