The hostel feels more like hotel with dorms, it's har to meet people. But also, I was the only who didn't speak Portoguese. The place have so much potential, missed more comfy places to chill. My 6man dorm was really small and cramped. It was two big groups of people (all ages) who kind of took over the place, speaking loud and taking all the places in the common-area. Swimmingpool is a plus :) The hostel was kind of hard to find, had to ask like 6 times before I found it. The staff is okay.
I stayed for 3 nights in CLH at shared girl dorm and It was great. The hostel is in a quiet area, 4 blocks far from the beaches, good facilities (great pool and social area), the personal specially Maria was really helpful. The breakfast was good and the bedrooms are comfortable with good AC.
Lovely hostel with great staff. Worth noting the water is brown, but apparently this is normal in Porto de Galinhas.
The atmosphere in the hostel was very relaxed and enjoyable. The breakfast was good. There was a shared kitchen that was unfortunately very difficult to use as it was very very messy (and not clean). Also, the water at the hostel came from their watertank and had a brown colour and also smelled a bit of rust. I think it is time for them to wash or replace their watertank!
