The staff's been really helpful here, they spoke English which was a plus and they were always willing to help. The kitchen felt a little disappointing because seemed too tiny for the amount of people held there. Overall a safe and right-price option in Santiago.

The staff is very friendly, they are the best. It's a 9-storey building with great view and luminosity. The common areas are lots of fun and spacious too.

In the middle of downtown Santiago, they organize daily events both tours and parties at night. The building is very stylish, it's like a refurbished hotel or antique apartment. Really liked it.

Location and personal attention is outstanding but the rooms were a little out of shape, nothing to be alarmed. The breakfast service was pretty good too. It's a great option for a quick stay.

very poor security-any one could have gone up to the unlocked rooms (people dont bother locking the rooms)-in fact they did and stole from me. The lifts to get up stairs are before the reception. pretty dirty toilets.

To me the biggest downside of this hostel is the location. Although near the Plaza, this is not a happening part of town and everything closes really early. Its a bit of walk to Bellavista where all the dinner restaurants are. On Sunday we literally couldn't find a place open within a three block radius. The staff are awesome. The rooms are pretty dirty, but then again its one of the cheaper options.

They have private bathrooms which was great. I had the burger night when I was there with red wine, it was fantastic. The reception worked great too, they set the transfer from hostel to airport. Thank you!

Reserve on Internet (Hostelworld), if you do it directly there the prices double!! If you want to stay longer, reserve again on internet, they have no problem with that. In the dorms there is one big locker for each bed, so you can let everything in the room without problem. In the kitchen, there is only one gas cooker, so you might have to wait for cooking. But if you want they make dinner, you just have to put your name on the list and pay, the price depends on what they cook.

Wonderful facilities, comfortable bedrooms and great food. The kitchen was a little crowded at conventional hours, but it was pretty good.

This hostel REFUSED to give me the correct price as quoted by Hostelworld. They didn't subtract the 10% deposit that is paid through Hostelworld, and even though I showed them the email that specifically subtracts that 10% deposit, they would not let me check in without paying the full 100% price. I argued with them for several minutes to no avail. It's not a large amount of money, but they are NOT abiding by Hostelworld standards like every other hostel I've stayed in over the years.

The hostel was very dirty compared to others I have stayed at. We had no hot water the first morning and then no water at all on the 2nd morning! Also, I had tried to reach the hostel to make some arrangements ahead of time. I e-mailed every single e-mail address I could find (including the one they had sent my welcome/confirmation e-mail from, but no one EVER got back to me! Dirty, terrible service, but very centrally located in the city. That's the only thing going for this place...
