A good hostel but the lockers should be in the rooms and not in the corridor. Che Lagarto was the best hostel I have stayed at in Argentina!! The staff was great! I loved my time in Calafate and I owe a large part to the hostel!! Defintely the best hostel we have stayed in so far. The staff were excellent and the rooms were cozy despite being a 12 bed dorm. Would definitely recommend to others. We booked a twin room, but we provided with a double. Not good for two blokes travelling together! This forced us to book an additional room at great expense and at a rate higher than if we'd booked through Hostelworld - what a rip-off. Nice hostel, great and helpful staff. Good food on dinner nights. A bit noisy in the evening.
