Honestly, I didn't think the service wasn't gonna be excellent being a hostel and all, but the truth is that Che Copacabana exceeded my expectations. It was really clean, they changed the bedding all the time and the staff was great too.

It's very welcoming and fun. I liked the common areas and the tours, it is clean and comfortable. Affordable rooms.

It was lots of fun. The hostel looked great, but the restroom was average. Good "persoas", crazy atmosphere.

The staff is very very kind, yet they were a bit disorganized, asked for a towel and told me they hadn't come from the laundry yet. Besides that, the hostel is very nice and the atmosphere is great too. Can tell they work hard :)

Pretty cool, awesome staff, it is very very clean. It's located in a great neighborhood and close to the hottest beach in Rio. Great find for the money.

The location was amazing the ideas that the hostel give to the guests in terms of trips, tours and things to do during the night the Hostel was manage by people who doesnt know how to deal with the guests just the boy who works there had the feeling of what is a hostel he was the only one who was interested in make the atmosphere in the place which is really important for a hostel anywhere in the world. The youngest girl with long her was the worse. Another thing they have their on currency:(

It's got lots of character, excellent setup. I liked the pool table, I mastered it! The rooms seemed groomed. Helpful staff and perfect location.

This hostel is a lot of fun. Great social areas, fair internet service. The beach and bars are a couple of blocks away. Had a wonderful time here.

The hostel is a little crowded, but it's no different than other hostels I've been to. You can count on the basic services plus is a fun place to stay. I'm happy with my stay here.

Habíamos realizado la correspondiente reserva por internet pero cuando llegamos no tenían la habitación correspondiente a nuestra reserva ni registros de la reserva, nos tuvieron que dar una habitación sin baño privado. Además, tenía otra reservacion en una habitación compartida pero resulta que modificaron el hostel y no tenían habitaciones compartidas, por lo cual la última noche me tuve que mudar de hostel por una noche, ellos no se hicieron responsable del cambio que habían realizado.

Very crowded, messy and bathrooms are really dirty. The management is absent (very few employes) for applying basic rules. it has a good location.

No record of our booking on arrival due to problem with their system. Sent us to a place nearby - it didn't exist. Gave us a different address - it was a private home and they didn't know anything about it. Finally got the correct address and stayed in a room nearby another Che Lagarto hostel for our stay. It took us 5 hours to check in. Asked the staff to help us book into Che Lagarto in Paraty. They said "leave it with us" - it didn't happen and by that time all the spaces were gone.

the staff were very helpfull and super nise, the location was great. it felt safe and was quiet. the food at breakfast wasnt allways frash

To be honest, we didn't have a chance to stay in hostel because of overbooking and all the mess it caused, and I heard that we were not only ones. Someone's irresponsibility cost us much of our precious time in Rio, and much more. We were left waiting for our room in hostel, then had to move from one hotel to other, losing more time and nerves. Staff were not so friendly and, one might think, completely untroubled by our unpleasant situation. Very bad experience...

Good: location and price. Bad: Confusion over reservation and amount to be paid, small common area, third floor walkup, constant noise, some good staff so not so.
