This place was a welcome retreat after an unsavoury stay elsewhere in São Paulo. We arrived close to 11am and were able to check in and go to our room straight away which was fab! Rooms are small but very comfortable. There is a nice communal area and a bar. All staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The girl during the day, Claudia? (She has blonde/blue hair) is terrific! She will do anything in ability to help out! She was amazing! The place is so close to the metro and bus station

Excellent staff, we loved Danielle who had great recommendations about things to do! She was so sweet and even printed out maps and subway routes for us!

We had high expectations for Che Lagarto after going to another one. Unfortunately, there was no hostel atmosphere and the facilities looked to be water damaged. We did have a decent room and good water pressure. The breakfast was okay. The staff were nice and tried to help whenever we had questions. The location is pretty close to Ana Rosa station which is excelllent for getting around the city. All in all, an okay but not great hostel in our opinion.

Nice hostel! Comfy beds, spacious bedroom and clean bathroom. Good location, 10 min walk to subway station, close to restaurants and bars. Only bad thing was the shower took too long to get hot at my room, like 5 min or more of wasting water, which seemed unreasonable on these times of water rationing. Besides that, staff and the atmosphere were great, as well as the breakfest. Definetly recomend it!

I really enjoyed staying at this hostel because it was in a nice area very close to restaurants bars metro and bus station. All the staff were great very helpful and anything for you. Yes i ws really happy staying there.

Nice place but at 2am sounded like there were intruders in the building , lasted for 2 hours - door knocking yelling running banging - wat were the staff doing while this occurred and we were all scared to leave our rooms

great place to stay

We managed to get this place on a cheap deal and it was a great stay. Rooms were very clean and modern, more like hotel rooms, hot powerful shower was great, staff were very helpful and accommodating, breakfast was more than ample serving cereals, bread, ham cheese toasties and fruit, plus the location was good being close to the metro, park and restaurents. Perhaps the one slight downer was that there wasn't any 'hostel' atmosphere but still an excellent place overall.

Breakfast was great. Staff very helpfu. Would recommend

good staff and service, and good place

Great place to stay. Good location, attentive staff, and most of all, the structure of the hostel is amazing: everything is new, clean, roomy and beautiful. It is a lovely place to stay in São Paulo and I will certainly come back!

The hostel is Super clean thanks to the amazing cleaning ladies which are really Nice and caring a Lot! Unfortunately the Rest of the staff is not really making you feel welcomed, except for the receptionist Working in the afternoon, Many of them seemed to ignore the guests going in and out. The Location is Great! Metro and supermarket, as well as Bars and Restaurants are close and its just 20' walk to beautiful ibirapuera park!
