Very good hostel, also the room! the staff were great! i really recommend this hostel! i definetly will come back again, just you need to pay 5 real for internet and if you're in a group all of them must pay!. even i'm not interested to use it.

Good value for money ... The music was too loud to sleep if you are tired during the day.

Excellent location, cozy hostel but the room was too small. The breKfast should be orginized differently in order not to cause lines

I didnt like the mixed room, it is in front of the swiming pool and, cause the parties, that is really noisy. Actually the rooms door was broke and there are only two lokers for 5 beds, the both was broke too.

I spent twenty days between Rio de Janeiro, Ilha Grande and Buzios, and in that time I have been in six hostels approx. The Che Lagarto Buzios was the best. It is very clean, the staff people are always in a good mood and the place is very comfortable, the rooms and public areas.

A nice hostel behind big security gates, a 15 min walk to the beach and 5 min walk to town centre. Staff are all super friendly at this hostel and made my stay much more comfortable. I was a little taken aback that the other guests were all South American and hence didn't have many people to speak English with. Although the staff, particularly Jeronemo and Mercedes, were wonderful and very inclusive. Jeronemo's caiparinhas were also second to none - delicioso!

It's close to the center of the town, and also the beach, though not the nicest beach of all. Has a pool, but it wasn't usable when we got there. Otherwise, very nice hostel.

Che Lagarto is a very good place to stay. The atmosphere is excelent specially during dinner times as just can eat and drink at evenings. The only bad thing is they don´t have potable water as it comes from a well so the pool looks very uncleaned. They should improve that. The rest, just excelent.
