Everything was good. Although the policy of not allowing “guests” up to the rooms was kinda annoying. A few times managed to get past, but it can really put a dampener on a good night out having to leave “guests” at the door. But this seems to be a Brazillian wide policy, not just hostels. But a great spot, good people, and very laid back.

As we checked in on new years day I'm sure there were exception circumstances however they didn't understand our booking correctly and placed us in a different room to the booking. The room was exceptionally dirty with food and rubbish everywhere. It appears they are renovating out the back. Would not recommend as for the same money you could stay somewhere much nicer.
