Che Lagarto Hostels is the first chain of hostels in South America with 15 years experience. We have over 20 hostels in 5 countries.
We are located in Paul Redfern 48 - Rio de Janeiro. Che Lagarto Ipanema has a tourism zone and the Museum of the Jewel Stern H only 3 blocks away and just one block from Ipanema Beach.
Directions to hostel:
From the airport: a transfer can be hired through the hostel reception. Another option is to take the Bus 'REAL AUTO ONIBUS' and get off on 'POST 10' in front of Praia Ipanema Hotel. From there walk one block and you're in the hostel.

Strong factors: excellent location, fun and good environment. Weak points: frozen water and price. I would definitely give a very high grade because has everything I always look for in a hostel, but... Who stays in a hostel definitely is never looking for luxury, but warm/hot water is a must. It is impossible to give a high grade without this so basic facility.
