The toilet flus was broken on arrival and was later fixed. However the pipe underneath the sink was leaking so that every time you went to wash your hands you got wet feet as well. Upon trying to close the blinds, the while thing just fell down as it was only taped to the wall, not mounted. As for the cleanliness, there was a lot of hair still in the shower, the blanket on the bed was stained and one could actually finger-write in the dust on the desk. The wifi worked and staff was friendly.

We had such a great time there! Great hostel! Would have liked to stay longer, or maybe come back if we had the time! Staff was helpful, the bar is great, beds are nice, showers are nice!

Really nice place with a lot of cool pulic spaces and great facilities. The stuff was really nice and helpful! The problems for us with the hotel was that the atmosphere was kind of weird for us with almost no girls and a lot of men over 30´s. Plus we only stayed there one night, but in that night there was a party going on in the commun room until 4:30 in the morning, not allowing us any sleep!

The only thing that let this place down was the bathroom. The toilets were constantly clogged and smelt. Otherwise brilliant hostel, breakfast is lovely, staff were very friendly, rooms were big, it was safe and good location. Would definitely go back.

Great hostel with friendly staff. Toilets were pretty dirty and smelt very bad, but that was the fault of those using them more than the cleaner. Good kitchen facilities

Fantastic staff, they really made my stay! It rained a fair bit when I was there but I met loads of people and hung out at the hostel which was still great. Meant to stay 3 days ended up there a week. The kitchen and cleanliness was above average.

A Great Hostel with so much to offer! Extremely helpful and friendly staff who suggested a range of different things to do in the entire country! Very clean and well decorated and a great breakfast! Thank you!

This hostel is a bit mis-represented in Lonely Planet and on Hostelworld.com. Whereas it may have been great when it first opened, it desperately needs some tlc. There is no rooftop pool, rooms are cramped, sheets are threadbare, bathroom was hot, stinky and had bugs. Good for your budget, bad for your peace of mind. When boys in our room mentioned they thought they had bed bugs we had to leave. That room should be shut immediately.

Sebastien, Ricardo and other guys who run the hostel are really cool, and very helpful. Unfortunately, none of the toilets worked properly, and the whole place was pretty dirty.

The staff is great and really helpful. Atmosphere and the location near to the river and to the "monumento a la bandera" are good. The kittchen could do with some new knifes. Please don´t book the room for 4 people. It´s too close to the entrance and you will literally hear every person passing by. The other dorms seem to be ok. Breakfast is not very creative.

It was a pretty nice place to stay. Pretty comfy beds, your average breakfast, and pretty much everything you would expect. we did however find bed bugs in the dorm we were placed in. We told the staff about it and they put us in a private room for the night and closed off the dorm. they were really good about. We only stayed a single night but iI liked the staff here really. not much was going on but all and all other than the bed bugs was a great stay.

Nice hostel with a lot of character, perfect location and friendly helpful staff. Quite noisy but good atmosphere. Good wifi and a good kitchen. Overall i liked it even though breakfast was a bit poor. Would stay here again.

The pros.. location is excellent, a short walk to the big shopping/restaurant streets & sites. facilities are great - free WiFi, computer, bar, kitchen, roof terrace, funky decor. The rest.. This is most definitely a party hostel. Ever had one of those house parties and the next morning there are people passed out throughout the house? That's exactly what Che Pampas had the weekend I stayed. I like a party but thumping music until 5am was a bit much. Bring good earplugs if you value sleep.
