In January, I received an email telling me that the hostel closed. So, I had to make another reservation in another hostel and I can't give any comment on some specific characteristics of the hostel.
We arrived super early and Dale kindly offered us breakfast that morning even though check in wasn't until much later - Oreo crepes, and fruit - it was yummy! He also offered us the double room so we didn't have to wait for a bed to sleep (we were sleep deprived at this time!). The atmosphere was great, we met lots of Uruguayans and Argentinians from BA who we spent NYE with, they collected a kitty of money and made steak sandwiches and drinks for the night. Really nice group of people! Thanks!
This hostel is great! Dale is a lovely guy who was so helpful. He have us tips for making the most of the city in a short (couple of days) visit. He also made delicious pancakes every morning! And he told us where to get severely discounted (over half price) bus tickets to our next destination, Buenos Aires. The hostel has a really chilled out vibe. There's a supermarket 2mins away and a decent kitchen. It's a 10-15min walk to the Main Plaza and right next to the park. Book here - no regrets!
The hostel had a decent location very close to the bus station and around 20 minutes walk to the main square. It had a cool vibe but could definitely improve as far as cleanliness goes. The rooms were alright but the bathrooms weren't very nice.
Great hostel. Lots of energy and vibe. While staff did a good job with daily cleaning the place and use a deep scrub. Paint is peeling in every room. Underneath the bed is super dusty with a thin layer of dust. Hostel beginning to show signs of aging and can use a light make over.
I had such a great time at Che salengro! 2 days planned, stayed 11. In terms of atmosphere u can't really beat it, thx in part to the great staff of volunteers alws up for mischief and to their way too lenient boss Dale, Canadian born crepe master (yes he wakes up very early every morning to fix 2 different types of crêpes for the pleasure of his guests!) and he'll never leave you hungry. Beds are good, well equipped kitchen, dorm upstairs has its own rooftop, asado in the backyard... Che
We didn't like the vibe when we were here. Not 'chilled out' as others said it would be, but probably down to the people staying here at the time. No lockers in rooms :( Also the rooms were quite small. Didn't feel very clean - sheets were pretty old etc, and we saw a cockroach scuttle across the floor when we first arrived! Staff were super-helpful! And breakfast was yum.
Amazing place! Funny, very clean, in a perfect location. The common area really invite you to chat with the other travellers, and the staff with their "buena onda" helps a lot the socialization by organizing bbq, pizzas, mini soccer matches, and going out together. Facilities are very good, toilets showers and kitchen are cleaned continously. Everybody came for a couple of nights but all ended up staying about a week. Carolina and Dale put lot of effort in it.Thanks for a beautiful week,Gianluca
I only meant to stay in Córdoba for 4 days, & ended up there for like 9 despite the fact that it was raining the whole time, just because I loved this hostel and everyone in it so much. The manager, Dale, is really nice and beyond helpful. breakfast was great, crepes, fruit, bread & coffee. Good sized kitchen. They have a lot of long term guests there, which makes for a warm and homey atmosphere. love a great mix of people come here from around argentina and the world.
Only booked 1 night but stayed for 3! Great breakfast - pancakes and fresh fruit. Not a big party atmosphere but was looking to recover from that anyway! That said everyone was friendly and really chilled atmosphere.
We spent an amazing moment at the hostel, the owner makes French crêpes every morning and the staff are always present ! The atmosphere are one of the best of all the hostels I did !! I hope to be back soon !! (From 2 French girls)

Outstanding about this place is the atmosphere; many friendly English and Spanish people around all day, more than eager to talk. Facilities are standard, breakfast is above the South America norm. Go there!
Great hostel, near to the train station and local shops etc. About a 15 minute walk to town, so good location too. Brilliant breakfast (pancakes, fruit and fresh bread!) and the owner was a lovely guy, always happy to help and advise. We had a great stay here.
I absolutely recommend this hostel. The staff is awesome and very helpful - with booking tours and also with helping you to order sushi at 1 o'clock at night... They have great breakfast, clean bathrooms and the beds are very comfortable. We loved it there! Thank you! :)
awesome hostel!! staff is awesome and friendly, great atmosphere for meeting new people and of course they have an amazing breakfast with over 40 variations of crepes (not all at once). very clean and very fun if your passing through check this place out and you won't regret it.
Good staff with very good location, a few blocks away from the bus station and the city centre. The facilities of the hostel are good and clean. Totally recommend.
Location of the Hostel is close to everything: the bus terminal, park, center, shops! In the hostel itself there is moe staff than guests, but everyone is very open and outgoing, and especially Charles got very involved! Facilities are all OK, beds fine and kitchen OK as well! Mostly the vibe is very good in the hostel :) don't be too late for breakfast: after 930 all pancakes and fruits are usually finished and not being refilled.. Overall very nice stay & lively city!
