Mario was an excellent host. We worked with a language barrier with no difficulty. The experience of sharing tis B&B for one week was very positive. I recommend the Che Telmo to anyone who wants to come to BA.My only suggestion is for Mario to provide clean soap in the shower. Thank you for recommending this Hostel.

This hostel was nice, maybe we just didnt have the occasion to meet many people, thats why we say - poor atmosphere. quite clean, but good location.

Clean and comfortable. The owner is friendly and welcoming. If you speak Spanish you can have good conversations about politics and Argentina in general. I felt very comfortable and at home there. Great location, close to downtown and the Subte. I felt safe walking in the neighborhood after dark.

The hostel is located right in the centre of town, with a 1 minute walk to the start of Florida Ave and a 5 minute walk to San Telmo. Mario does not speak english and we do not speak spanish, but this was not a problem - he gave us directions, booked taxis and generally was very welcoming. We came back for our second stay in BA.

Mario is a very enthusiastic and accommodating host. His English is quite limited, so if you don´t speak Spanish prepare to either gesture a lot or use Google translate! The guesthouse is very clean and in a great location, and it´s way cheaper than booking a private room in a hostel. Mario is only on-site during the day, so you get the apartment all to yourself (with the other guests) at night. It´s pretty relaxed and low-key. A good place if you want a decent night´s rest at a good price.

Very cosy place. The few rooms have a special cache. Mario the owner is very helpful. Can recommend to anybody who speaks a little Spanish. (although Mario seems to understand and speak if he has to :-)

Clean, safe and quiet hostel with lovely character. The owner was very friendly and helpful too, although English wasn't great.
