We had a twin room for a few nights.the place and building were very nice, nice big rooms, comfort see beds, showers hot. Owners were welcoming though we didn't speak to them much, the place was nice and quiet which was what we wanted. If your after a party don't come here. If you want a nice friendly quiet place to sleep then come here.

Mario, the host, is very dedicated and helping, and prone to conversations (in spanish). It's a very quiet place most of the time, as it is also a pension where some of the guests have been living for weeks or months. I had no trouble with security around the hostel - the surrounding might look creepy at night because of the road works in the neighbouring street, it is just 100m away from the Subte and in a well monitored area. On sundays, the San Telmo fair is just at the end of the street.
