Hostel staff was friendly, the hostel was clean, and quiet in relation to its street.

Great hostel - pretty much brand new and the dorms are modern, clean and comfy (great a/c too). Location for us wasn't great - it's in the red light district (which, to be fair, we did know before booking it), so the street is littered with prostitutes and old men - interesting/intriguing/funny at first, but we were bored by the second night.

The could have had better information about things to do in Bangkok and detailed maps. Cost of public transport and better advice on what to do. The facilities were new and modern and AC worked well. The area is full of sleezy bars and prostitutes - harmless, but just be aware of that.

The staff wasn't as friendly as I had hoped, kept on repeating the information as if I was stupid and didn't understand them. They freaked out when i brought a friend who needed to use the bathroom desperately. They were pretty rude and interrogated my other friend who was waiting in the lobby. The female dorm was cozy, but the bed was as hard as the floor. The hostel didnt provide body soap in the showers, which every other hostel I've been to Bangkok did.

Amazing hostel and the best staff. Was really impressed with the quirky design and the amazing clean rooms. The private rooms were unique, clean and beautifully designed and well worth paying the extra money for. Very close to all the major shopping centers and nightlife. Will definitely stay here on my next visit to Bangkok.

the hostel is nice overall. however, the hostel is located in "red-light district', so be aware if you travel alone (esp. for Asian female) and due to the poor insulation, you can hear the noise from common room all night. ( I was in 3rd floor) for one night is okay, but not recommend for long stay.

Staff called me when I didn't arrive by my check in time and worked hard to help me find the hotel. They were nice and accommodating also when I didn't have the correct currency with me. The beds are similar to hard massage mats and are uncomfortable. They were overbooked so brought an additional bed into our room so it was very crowded for space and room for luggage.

Very clean and social hostel, had an amazing time. Has to be noticed that the location is in a very busy red light district, but don't let this put you off, its so easy to get to via the sky train its definitely worth a visit

The hospitality in this place was great. However, we did have a problem because there was an over-booking of rooms at that time. Our booking was supposed to be in a mixed-dorm room, but we were separated since there wasnt enough space. The staff was kind enough to reserve the private room for us the following night and even added some discounts since that room is more expensive than the one we originally book. Overall, CheQinn's a good place in a strategic location.

Friendly staff, lively common area, good Internet, hard mattresses and overstuffed pillows, huge lockers available for storage in the dorms (bring a padlock), good A/C, rooms are quiet at night, nice enough common bathrooms. Easy access to BTS sky train. This is on the red light district so boys, travel in groups or with a girl. You may get groped... Overall I had a wonderful time, made some great friends, and plan to stay there again later this month.

Nice hostel. Met some cool people here. Just be aware that its in nana, not the centre or koh sang rd.

This place rocks. It's in a party part of town and close to the BTS, which is excellent. Staff are friendly and cheeky, and the booze is cheap. Rooms have everything you need at your bunk; light, power, and mini stowaway table. Big storage but you'll need a lock. I think the laundry facilities could be a tad cheaper, but I can't complain about anything else!

Appealing decor, nice and clean, even had an elevator (5 story hostel). The staff were very friendly and (crucially) the bathrooms were kept in great shape. Didn't realise when I booked it, but is in the heart of the red light district. Very colourful neighbourhood, but with lots of regular bars as well. Sukhumvit has pubs, street vendors, endless restaurants, and upscale clubs all jumbled together. CheQinn is tucked away right in the heart of it. Will def stay here again.

It's a bit far out from the main party district (KOHSAN RD is what you want if you want to be at the heart of the backpacker district). However, it is a chic little joint. Colourful, flamboyant and helpful staff. Not a huge party hostel atmosphere, difficult to meet other travellers, but the facilities are clean and the showers are divine after our stay around other hostels around south east asia. :)
