CheQinn is a decent hostel. All the basics are well laid out and the staff is decent enough. My main complaint is with the poor wifi. It's awful. You can't connect most of the time and when you do, it's only for a few minutes at a time. It is very frustrating if you use wifi to plan your travels. When I told the front desk about the wifi, she offered little help and said it was a problem for her too. It's an easy fix but a real hassle. Otherwise, CheQinn is a nice clean hostel.

Located in the center of Nana, close to BTS and 2 red light district. AC was a little bit code for me as my bed is directly in front of AC, but the studf allowed me to borrow an extra blanket.

I really enjoyed my stay, the room was very nice and clean. The staff was really awesome and friendly and made me feel right at home. The neighborhood is very interesting, as it is near the Nana red light area. Of the hostels I have stayed in around Bangkok, this is my favorite.

Someone in the next dorm lost USD500 though they kept their cash in a locker but unfortunately they used a combi lock. It wasn't there roomies as they were 6 friends sharing in one room and they all went out together. The staff couldn't do much to help to search or recover any loss either. Other than the unfortunate incident, the place is very well kept and cleaned. There is no kitchen though and only a bar that serves drinks and microwaved food. Location wise is good as it is very close to BTS

This is my second time staying here, didn't realize the price went up to 400baht from 350 within a two week period. Oh well. Still very helpful, and just what I needed for visiting Bangkok for the night. I was there during the King's birthday and they did a nice little candlelight lighting ceremony.

Nice staff, howewer there English was very poor. Also we had to change rooms 2 times in 3 days, cause they didn't have control over the room situations !

It was good, clean and decent. Looks pretty new, and a lot better than I expected to see in that neighborhood. (Didn't find out it was a major hooker street until I got off the BTS) The front desk men had a hard time answering my questions, and couldn't give directions over the phone if their life depended on it. I had to rely on the local prostitutes to point me in the right direction. Guys were using the girls toilets, doors left wide open. NOT a bad place though, may use again.

While the hostel is relatively difficult to find on a alleyway off the main Soi, this place was a pleasure to stay at. The staff were very friendly, there was copious amounts of socialising space to meet fellow travellers and the entire hostel was very clean. My girlfriends only gripe was that each floor only has one gender bathroom so she had to always head up one flight of stairs to go to the female bathroom, but for the price, this wasn't really a negative. Fast wifi. Definitely recommend
