Great value for the money. Walking distance from checkpoint Charlie. Bed is clean, and there is a locker for smaller backpack. Showers could use different curtains, but all in all, would come back

It's a very cheap and easy place to stay, you can go to the greatest places in Berlin walking, and the underground station is very close. A part from that, showers were often busy and dirty (warm showers just in the 1st floor); kitchen was awful! Club below is very noisy until about 6am, during the w.e.

Just cold water in the showers, even the private ones. Apart from that, good place!

The rooms were too hot during the night, there were only 2 refrigerators for around 50 people and not to mention inside was a huge mess, a lot of rotten vegetables and other food. The kitchen was also in quite bad condition, one of the stoves did not work, so we had to crowd to prepare a meal. There should also be some rules in which they would determine until when it is ok for people to shout and rumble inside the hostel, because some of us wanted to sleep, but that was not always possible.

Bar below is very noisy until about 5am (every night, windows shut or open). Also an event center nereby adds to the disturbance of sleep. With that said: may be more quiet during the off season but good luck sleeping when whether is nice. Also very hot and stuffy. Kitchen is a disaster and very unsanitary. Showers were ice cold multiple days in a row. Pros: Central location and walked most everywhere. Grocery store nearby but only for snacks since kitchen is uninhabitable. Wifi is decent.

Showers flooded and were horrible, but otherwise a decent place to stay for a couple of nights and very well located. Extremely close to Checkpoint Charlie and Brandenburg Gate and short metro ride away from anywhere else in Berlin. Would likely stay again

I cant see any better place for a hostel in Berlin! You can go to the greatest places in Berlin walking, and the U-Bahn station is very close. The wifi worked perfectly. But i was quite uncomfortable with the room key, it was actually a key, not a key card like some other hostels. The kitchen was good, there's a refrigerator, but it's always full and it's hard to find a place for your food. Maybe it would be good to have individual lights in the beds.

Dorms clean and spacious, bathrooms clean but water doesn't drain well so slight mildew smell . Overall great hostel for what you pay, would stay here again

Great hostel, good location and the staff was awesome and so polite. They must fix manual shower support.

The location is good and the staff was friendly, but the kitchen was dirty and the shower was ponding with water. I wouldn't really blame it on the hostel management, it was more because of irresponsible users.

Good place to stay, good location. The kitchen was a little dirty, but the rest was ok.

Very good place to stay.

Just the cleanliness is a bit below expectation, and people are noisy at night. Other things are ok!

Lots of Latinos running up and down the corridors.

No wifi in the room, yet the connection even around reception isn't good. The kitchen is the dirtiest kitchen i've seen among all hostels i've stayed. The staff is not being helpful and friendly. What upset me most was they don't have enough keys for dorm room, so inconvenient.

The hostel is a bit out from the city center, but the hostel altogether provides a good stay. There was a mix up in a room we were staying in and we were upgraded to a better room, which shows the hospitality of the hostel.

overall, a good hostel. Located close to the city centre (walking distance), i can say that the hostel is a bit old but clean. There are no elevators so going up the stairs with a heavy backpack/suitcase is a bit uncomfortable, but that's the problem with most hostels I've been to.
