Nice place not far from the heart of the city and with the public transportation a block or so away was very easy to get around. Most places in the immediate neighborhood are more highly Chinese and don't necessarily cater to English speaking foreigners so sometimes getting a bite in the immediate vicinity is a bit difficult unless you're good with pointing at pictures...which worked ok with me! Would def stay there again and recommend it to friends.
Quite small. Rooms very crammed with three people sleeping above each other. AC directly over the top bed, directed at the person sleeping there. Other visitor couldn't sleep with AC turned on, hence it was always off, making the room really hot and humid. Nonetheless from what I have heard still one the better hostel options in HK.
Check Inn has a great atmosphere between guests, with extremely friendly staff that are happy to chat and help out local advice. It is very comfortable, with cleaners permanently on stand by to mop up the moment you walk out of the small but adequate washrooms. You'll probably find yourself extending your stay further to enjoy the atmosphere and Hong Kong in general. It would be 100% if only they didn't increase the room rates for the rugby weekend, but demand is high so was justifiable.
Really cool to see how you can a lot with limited space. The showers look really small initially, but they smartly designed it so you have space enough for everything. Great to see! Staff in amazing. Thank you girls. Felt very welcome from the start!
Small but very nice and clean hostel :) staff was friendly and very helpful, I can recommend this hostel for everyone ;)
All in all a good hostel to get some rest and maybe meet some people. Bit short space for the bed for me (180cm).
considering the prices in HK, very nice hostel.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in! Staff are incredible. So welcoming and helpful! Special thanks to the lovely Vincent and Hilda! The facilities are great, super fast 5G internet, unlimited, delicious coconut cracker snacks and very clean! The atmosphere is also really warm and chilled, but there are lots of travellers to go out with too. Check out the booklet at reception with a list of all the local restaurants, there's a great
The people who work heremake this place awesome. :)
Stayed here for 4 nights during the Chinese New Year. Hostel was great considering all other accommodations were very expensive. Staff was very helpful and even organized groups events led by the amazing Wincent, who acted as a tour guide. They even offered currency exchange at reception when all the banks were closed for the holiday. Rooms were standard dorm-style but bathroom were always cleaned. Highly recommend this hostel!

This is an amazing Hostel in Hong Kong! I would recommend everybody to stay there. The staffs are great and provide you with a lot of useful information. They also provide a lot of options for exploring interesting things in the city together with them. You will feel like in a big family :)
It was a great time! I will definitely be going back to stay there again when I am in Hong Kong!
Check Inn is not a fancy hostel---no kitchen, no bar---but it excels for the friendliness & helpfulness of its staff & owner. Organized activities (e.g., climbing Victoria Peak) make meeting fellow travelers easy. The hostel is a short walk to the Wan Chai MTR station or the Wan Chai ferry pier.
I stayed here for 5 days over Chinese New Year and was very satisfied. Wincent and the other hostel hosts arranged for us to view fireworks, see horse races and were always giving great advice for sightseeing. The hostel was clean and close to the metro. I stayed there by myself and found it easy to meet people to explore HK with. Thursday nights they host a fun bar crawl too. I would definitely stay there again!
Nice staff and excellent location. But quite expensive during holidays. Rooms were clean but common area is too bit small. only one sofa and that was it. Other than that, 5min to subway station.
Best hostel I've stayed at yet! The staff was so helpful and I had no problems whatsoever while I stayed there! Would deff stay again!
This place is in a great location but it was hard to find it since there is no logo or sign outside the building. Just follow the instructions from your email confirmation. The Pub Crawl on Thursdays is a must definitely thing to do while you there. I was there for new years so it was insanely crazy with almost 300 (Spartans/Tourists) lol Anyways, everything is small, welcome to Hong Kong! However you got common areas in every single department & at the reception. Metro is about 3 blocks away.
This place was pretty nice and the staff was really helpful and prepared. If I ever come to hongkong again, I'll definitely stay here.
The hostel is in an ideal location being centrally placed for all guests to explore Hong Kong. My room was located above a main road and as a result I found it very difficult to sleep with the heavy traffic flow and guests walking in and out of the dormitory. The staff are very friendly and helpful and offered me very good advice on how to arrive on Lantau Island to begin the Lantau Trail hike. If anyone loves to party then there are numerous bars and clubs within a short distance.
