We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at cheers backpackers so much so we didn't want to leave. the staff are really nice and the place is spotless. the beds are comfy and it has a lovely feeling to the place. Went on a party bus and met loads of backpackers , had a brill time in Surfers Paradise because of Cheers backpackers. The bar is also class. The nicest place we stayed in so far.

This was the best hostel I have stayed in. Only one wish would be smoking place. Because I dont smoke, it is not nice that people smoke in central places.

My stay at Cheers backpackers was unexpectedly good! I had planned to use Surfers as a stop-over before Brisbane. After one pint with the receptionist (very friendly), i ended up drinking all day with the locals in the cheers beer garden. The bar had lovely character and everyone was friendly and accepting. The reception delibrately chose my room according to my requirements and seemed happy to switch things around for me. Overall i was sad to leave and should've stayed longer in cheers!

Found the staff quite miserable and not very helpful. Didn't find the hostel very secure, they could do with putting safes in the rooms.

Worst hostel ever!!! Dirty and noisy! Disgusting bathrooms and no toilet paper. No security lockers in rooms, ugly kitchen

a bit fare out side the city, but they got the free shuttle bus, so that makes up for it, nice place

the wrong point is the kitchen, otherwise it's al good cheap, drinks at the bar and it's only 22$ for a 4 bedorm; really affordable
