This hostel is very good because the staff is very nice and friendly. Thanks to them, we met a lot of turkish people that invited us to have diner with them. Moreover thanks to this hostel, we had the opportunity to go 3 days in Cappadocia at a very good price. This place is clean, safe thanks to a 24/24 hour service and the lockers. Breakfast is good and enable to have an active morning!

This was a great hostel. Great location, great character. Breakfast in the morning was allways something to look forward to. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and lovely to talk to over a nice apple tea. I would definitely recommend Cheers!

Cheers Hostel is located only steps away from all of Sultanahmet's main attractions (i.e. Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, etc.) yet its location down a small quiet alley gives the hostel a quaint home-like feel. Breakfast is good and is a traditional Turkish breakfast consisting of cheese, olives, rolls, fruit, coffee/tea served buffet style. There are ample bathrooms/shower facilities which are kept clean. I felt very safe as a solo female traveller. Highly recommended!

What an fabulous hostel, standards reminded me more of an hotel. Very attentive and helpful staff, who have set themselves very high standards. Also the views really are amazing from the roof top bar... Highly recommend the place! However, if you are in town to party stay in Taksim.

Cheers is one of the best hostel I ever stayed at. Mainly because of the staff that is super friedly and makes you feel like you`re at home. They are just very helpful and ready to help you whatever your question is. The location is very central in the middle of all the main sights.. not to mention the rooftop bar probably has the best view on Agia Sofia in the whole area! This hostel is just super nice, facilities are very clean and the breakfast is simply delicious.

I was at Cheers Hostel for 4 nights and didn't want to leave. The location and comfort could not be any better. The upstairs bar has AMAZING views of Hagia Sophia the perfect place to unwind after a long day sight seeing. The daily breakfast is a MUST, its a real Turkish breakfast! Takir and the rest of the staff are 110%! They are amazing at recommending non-touristy spots if youre into bars, clubs, shops. If I ever have family or friends visiting Istanbul I will send them to CHEERS.

We simply loved our stay here! Would definitely come back again. Just one thing: If you book a private room make sure you have an ensuite room otherwise you will end up in a tiny, windowless chamber. It didn't bother us, though, we only slept there. All our spare time we spend in the great, great lounge with the awesome staff. Breakfast was awesome for a hostel. You won't go hungry there, promise.

What to say? Probably the best hostel in Istanbul. Super close to cities main attractions and trams. Service staff is available 24 hours and helps you with anything you need. Perfect English and very entertaining. Fast internet terminals are available though, too. Hard to leave this place. Thanks and see you again!

We stayed at Cheers hostel for a few days during Euroleague Final Four. Great location: 3 min walk from Aya Sofya, Sultanahmet square. The tram station is also just in a few minutes walk. Amazing view from the bar. Thanks to Tarik and all the staff for being such helpful and hospitable! Guys, you are awesome!

Tarik, you guys are amazing. We really appreciate you being so helpful to the three of us girls during our first time in Istanbul. I can't thank you enough for the warm welcome, the helpful tips, the fun conversations and making us feel at home. I won't forget you or the "camel cheese". Serefe!

Location could not be better, the breakfast is awesome, the staff are friendly and helpful, and Bijou is the coolest dog ever! Upstairs rooms can be pretty noisy at night because the music from the bar is so loud, but other than that I would definately recommend this hostel.

The hostel had a very friendly atmosphere much helped by staff. The roof bar, with amazing views was a great place to relax and talk to other travellers. The hostel is very inclusive and welcomes guests of all ages (unlike some others nearby).
