Great place to stay but the bathrooms could do with a bit of redecorating. The laundry that was recommended was very expensive and kept losing my clothes.

What a great hostel! Perfect location. Great breakfast and nice to get free tea after a cold day:). The girls dormitory is very nice, spacious, clean and comfy bed. However it would be perfect if they could add lamps over the beds or even just one lamp in the room that you could turn on without waking everyone. Bathrooms are quite clean. Great atmosphere and great common area both by the reception and at the beautiful roof bar! Great staff! ..everyone were very helpful and I felt safe:).

Cheers offers the best stay for backpack travelers in Instanbul. Staff were totally friendly and helpful! Congratulations to Tarik and the whole team! For me the best place in Cheers was the Bar at the top. my Cousin celebrated an impromptu birthday and were else can you party with the best view of the Hagia Sophia! Amazing! :)

This hostel needs to have a security system in place. A random guy who was partying on the rooftop bar burst in our room, a female only dorm, to look for a girl he met earlier. Anybody can walk into the hostel and in the rooms. There are no locks on the rooms or controls on who comes in the hostel. The only form of security you get is the ey to your locker, which is small. Also, they need to soundproof the bar upstairs as you can hear the music even when you're sleeping two floors down.

Absolutely fantastic staff. Extremely helpful with setting up everything I needed help with on multiple occasions. Very fun people, always smiling and greeting people by name. Kept the place fun, while also professionally run. Definitely recommend them for anyone who's stayed in hostels before, or for whom this might be their first experience.

This hostel is one of Istanbuls best kept secrets. Its close to all of the mosques and museums. As well as some of the best views throughout the city. My friend and I found hidden gems around every corner we turned. At one point we even found an art exhibition down a hidden cobblestone path. Cheers was clean and the staff made this stay a high light of my vacation.

Easily one of the best hostels we've stayed at, and definetly the best one in Istanbul. The staff was amazing, they gave us help and info on attractions and logistics, as well as being awsome, fun and friendly. The bar (with a view of Hagia Sofia) was worth spending every single night at, there were fun events (club night and barbecue), breakfast was good, it was clean, and in a good location. We will most certainly be back.

Cheers was a fantastic hostel, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we stepped through the door and any queries or issues were dealt with rapidly and effectively. The rooftop bar was a definite bonus and the atmosphere throughout the hostel was great. Our room was in a separate building to the main hostel but this didn't detract and if anything was better as it gave us a sense of privacy when we wanted it. I'd definitely recommend Cheers to friends.

Cheers is an awesome Hostel :) enjoyed the time very much! The staff is very nice, fun and helpful. You can reach all tousistic places like Grand Basar very easy and also Taksim (good party area) is not far away if the great roof bar with view to the Hagia Sofia is not enough for you. Everything is absolutely clean and also in the big mixed dorms is plenty of place and you feel comfortable. We got free tea, water and coffee and the breakfast was delicious. Teşekkür :)
