It's one of the best hostel I know - and I traveled a lot. It's also the most beautiful bar I know with the wonderful view out of Sainte Sophie. Evreything was perfect, we felt like in a family. Thank you and we recommand Cheers to everybody ! the place to go in istanbul ! Coralie and Faustine

Cheers Hostel was great! Very friendly staff, warm and buzzing atmosphere around breakfast every day and at the bar on the top floor at night. The resident dog also makes everyone happy. Everything was clean, warm (we went in late January-early February), and the location can't be beat! It's literally a 5-10 min walk away from the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia and is right between two local tram stops that can easily take you to other parts of the city. Cheers Hostel is a fun place to be!

I had 2 amazing days in Istanbul! The hostel couldn't have a better location and the staff is great and very helpful! If you're planning to go to Istanbul, don't waste your time searching for a place to sleep, just go to Cheers Hostel!! I'll definitely come back!

Cheers Hostel is definitely the best choice for the Sultanahmet District. You are within easy walking distance to all the major sights, Ayasofya looms out the window of the terrace bar, and the staff are friendly and helpful. But if I returned to Istanbul, I would stay in the Taksim District. It's where the most delicious cheap food is, and where the nightlife is, and it's only a 10 minute tram ride to Sultanahmet.

i would highly recommend a stay at cheers if you're in istanbul. the location is in the dead centre of so many beautiful attractions which means a spectacular rooftop bar view over the aya sofia. all the staff are amazing, friendly, and helpful. i want to thank them for making my stay so memorable. in addition, they have good facilities like fast internet. hot showers, and the sweetest pet golden retriever ever!

It's located just a couple of minutes away from Aya Sofia and Blue Mosque. So it's definitely one thing I loved about this hostel. Atmosphere was also good. Above all, one thing I should mention about this hostel is that the staffs here are very friendly and kind. They always talked to their guests cheerfully, which made me feel at home. Strongly recommend it!

They made my stay in Istanbul umforgetable! Everyone is like a huge family. They look after and take care of eachother and all of the guests as if they were their own! With every problem that I had they went above and beyond, helping me with touristic and personal problems alike. When I became sick they helped get me better, and they trully care about people. I stayed in the all girls dorm and felt very safe and secure, and the bar upstairs is incredibly chill with plenty of couches. STAY HERE!!

Everything was so clean. The beds were so soft, and the down comforters were so warm. I'd never slept in a comfier bunk bed before. Breakfast was simple, but delicious. The staff was really nice too. They have the sweetest dog ever - Bijoux. I felt at home the whole time I was there. Also, the location is perfect. I'd definitely go back.

So this was a nice hostel with a nıce staff, upstaırs bar, free ınternet, small but okay breakfast, and really close to maın attractıons. That beıng saıd, I stayed ın the dorm rıght below the bar and ıt dıdnt get quıet untıl 3-4 ın the mornıng and the people ın my room had no manners ın keepıng quıet whıle enterıng and exıtıng the room---I sleep through almost anythıng and for me ıt was unacceptable. The housekeeper took my towl and my flıp-flops. There ıs good and bad here...

*Best Hostel I Have Ever Stayed At* 1. Best staff in the world (Tarik, Hakan, Onur) - actually took us out to bars and kept things exciting at the hostel, great tour guides 2. Best people I have ever stayed with - this place brings in good people into an environment built for fun but not craziness 3. All the other factors: cleanliness, facilities, location, etc. - a non-factor because they are all good to great 4. The BEST view from possibly ANY bar I have ever been to, let alone a hostel bar!

This is about as good as it gets as hostels go. The location is perfect, rooms are clean, staff is genuinely friendly and warm, breakfast is great and free, and there is a top floor bar with one of the best views in the city! I loved Istanbul and can't wait to go back...when I do I'll be staying again at Cheers.
