Pretty good hostel, would stay there again. Good value for the money, and a fair breakfast The only down point, wich I found after I left the hostel, is that I book (and paid, I guess), for a 8 bed dorm, and stood in a 1 bed, probably because a mistake, so that is OK.

I stayed with a friend for a week over new years and we really enyjoyed being in this hostel with the very nice, friendly and awesome staff. Also the breakfast ist pretty and its very good located for seeing the touristy parts of Istanbul. Thanks for that awesome stay! :)

The staff at Cheers is very helpful and friendly, and the environment in the hostel reflects that. It is one of the most open and welcoming hostels I've ever stayed at and if I go to Istanbul again I would definitely stay at Cheers again.

Recently enjoyed a great couple of nights at Cheers. Staff are all very accommodating, especially the very friendly Tarik. Perfect location with amazing views of the Hagia Sophia from the rooftop bar which provides a great atmosphere and place to meet fellow Travellers. Excellent hostel!!

I spent a great time at Cheers in Istanbul and I would definitely recommend it. Great people running the place, good facilities, delicious breakfast and really great atmosphere. Hope to get back soon :)

Nice bar, friendly and helpful staff, comfy beds, near to the main sites, would definitely recommend if you're in Istanbul.

Cheers is the best place to stay in the area! The staff are the best around, the rooms are great, and I've never felt more welcome at a hostel. I managed to forget a portable hard drive while I was there, the staff found it, held onto it, and it was there a week later when I got back. All without me asking about it until I got there the second time around. Seems like a simple thing, but it was huge for me. In short, this place is great. Stay here.

I really enjoyed the staff and the environment of the hostel and the bar in the top it´s great. However it is not a good place to rest because the there is a lot of people going to the bar and the music is loud.

I have stayed in hostels all over the world and I would rate Cheers as one of the nicest I have stayed in. The facilities, location and atmosphere are fantastic and the staff go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. If you are looking for Turkish hospitality this is the place to go! It is a very social hostel and attracts a diverse and friendly group of travellers. Highly recommended!

Yummy breakfast and apple tea!

The staff is so welcoming and sweet and you can't beat the location. Best part was the upper bar with a view of the Hagia Sophia and a nice fireplace to curl up to.

Great location close to aya sofia. Modern facilities. Helpful and friendly host. Clean and comfy beds. Good atmosphere for chilling with strangers. But the nice top floor bar does get a bit load late into the night, so ask for a lower floor if you want a quiet room,
