What an amazing hostel! The staff were so friendly, seeing we were tired they let us check in the following morning. They provided maps and great information. Because the hostel was not very busy (February) they were kind enough to offer us the big top floor room with balcony & private sauna! The location is excellent, a 3 min walk from the blue mosque in the beautiful old town. Excellent breakfast, with free apple tea on demand. Would definitely recommend! Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful place in a great city! The beds are absolutely comfortable and the ensuite bathrooms perfectly clean. While this hostel is a quite silent place (and so perfect to sleep) you can always rush to the partner hostel only a few minutes away to meet other travellers and hang out on the rooftop. I will definitely stay here again!

Just finished a fantastic 4-night stay here. The staff was all fantastic. Always an English speaker available. Came during low-tourist season and since te ocean-view room was empty, I was moved there and had my own room with a fantastic view. Very clean, quiet, highly recommended for first-time stay in Istanbul. Near blue mosque and Hagia Sophia (5 min walk). Not the easiest to find the first time, but the neighborhood is very safe and I never had any difficulty after the first time. Breakfast w

While hard to find at first, this hostel is located in a great location in Sulanahmet right on the sea! We enjoyed waking up for the sunrise every morning overlooking the sea. Staff was helpful and the free breakfast was tasty. Backen, the owner, (spelling?) is the man!

Hostel has opened for a few months, therefore all renovation works are not completely finished. High potential ! Nice view for breakfast, nice place in general, near to the blue mosquee. Excellent restaurant, you should try at least once! Great turkish coffee ! Hot water made in 5 nights 4 times problems (we had to reset twice the boiler on ourselves... probably start difficulties for the first winter)

Pretty good hostel, clean and great view over the water. The hostel was Pretty quiet (no big parties or anything ) but still great to meet other travellers. Also had a drink at the other Cheers hostel and had a great night, so also recommend that hostel.

I really enjoyed my stay in this hostel/hotel the only thing i dislike was the fact that all the staff smoked in the hostel. There are people like me that have serious allergy problems and due to this cannot tolerate the smoke. Everything else was perfect. I was more than happy.

It was a perfect stay. The staff was the MOST friendliest we have ever experienced. Even tea during the night (i was ill) was no problem. The hostels terrace has a stunning view over the ocean - the perfect place for breakfast. The hostel also includes a restaurant. The food there is really good and quite affordable. The location is quite in the center of sultanahmet and it's only a few minutes walk to the blue mosque and the hagia sophia. We recommend it to everybody.

Pretty new (hotel-styled) hostel. Super friendly stuff. We had the deluxe double private room with balcony which has an amazing view to the water. Also there's a sauna in the bathroom. Unfortunately the (hot) water didn't always work like it should, same with the wifi in the room. We told the guys who work there and they tried to fix it asap though. The rooms could be a bit cleaner too. But in general a charming place with character in the heart of the old town.

Not the best atmosphere! Not a good place to stay if u want to meet other travelers. It's basically a restaurant with beds on top. We were told we could hang in the restaurant but the wifi didnt work there and it was always packed. ALSO, breakfast was served late every day! This was very inconvenient because all the sights open by 9am. B-fast should have been 8:30 but you were lucky to be eating by 9:00. The staff were really great and super friendly.
