The best location! And great staff!

I would definitely stay at Cheers Midtown again, if (when!) I return to Istanbul. It's a nice place to stay at and the location is great. You are within walking distance of the old part of the city as well as really close to famous Istiklal-Street with lots of shops and restaurants. Yet the area is not too touristy. The hostel's staff consisted of tree guys. Two of them did not seem to be too interested in the guests but were friendly enough. Staff member Yavuz was EXTREMELY nice and helpful!

It was cool to stay in Cheers Midtown Hostel . Its location is very good, near Taxim district which is the center of Istanbul’s night life. The staff is so hospitalarious, helpful and friendly . They make you feel like home.

Cheers Midtown is in great location, has decent facilities and is overall an excellent value for money. What is missing is the character - people rarely meet and sit together in the common room (they are probably discouraged by the lack of drinks, computers, etc), it would also be much better if the hostel offered tours and trips, because the people working there are wonderful and really now Beyoglu, probably the most interesting part of Istanbul for social activities.

Great location, just steps away from Istiklal St and Taksim square. The staff was somewhat helpful. Would have liked a few more map options or a recommended tour. Our room was sub par. Supposedly the toilet would clog if any toilet paper was flushed down so we were instructed to throw our used toilet paper into a trash can. Pretty gross! There were holes in the floor and walls. The sheets on our beds were dirty upon our arrival. All in all I would recommend staying else, but close by.

thanks cheersmidtown. it was really funny and comfortable accomodation for me. yavus knew about night life very well and helpful. my room, bathroom and sheets were clean. you can use kitchen whenever you want. Perfect location!!

Walking distance away from historical center of Istanbul as well as hyper -modern landmarks of the city,well, this place is a very thrilling place to stay!!! Room cozy and clean, staff kind and helpful...Recommendations..

Best hostel ever!!!I originally picked it for the location (super central to everything - from touristy stuff to the awesome nightlife).never had to worry about public transport because EVERYTHING is only a few minutes walking to every point Aside from the staff being great and helpful, they've created a really social and fun atmosphere in the hostel and take all the guests out at night. A must-stay for anyone who wants to meet other travellers and wants to see what İstanbul is really all about

A decent hostel within walking distance to pretty much everywhere; Beyoğlu (the night life of Istanbul), Eminönü (main cultural sites), the ferry port (if you fancy crossing the bosphorus) etc. Quite clean. Very friendly staff. Recommended for those who want to be at the center of the city and go to as many places as possible.

Cash payment only! Free wi-fi Just hop on the train at the airport (metro line 1), change to the tramline (T1) and exit on "Tophane" - then walk about 3 minutes up the hill - and you are there :)

The place is great headquarters and base camp for going out and trekking around. The location is amazing and has the greatest local shops, restaurants and proximity to Istiklal Street. The Sultan Yavuz is a great aid and help, plus he has a mean playlist to keep the good times rolling. All in all great place and would stay again. Best breakfast ever by Yavuz also!

Had a fantastic time in Istanbul thanks to our gracious hosts Yavuz and Sky at Cheers Midtown. This hostel is located in a great location, walking distance to all the really fun areas in Istanbul. We had a triple with a private bathroom which was plenty of space for three girls. The hostel is located right next to an awesome bakery and up the street from a great little juice stand where you can get fresh squeezed juice for one lira!

The staff was very welcoming, accommodating, and willing to recommend cool bars/ restaurants in the area. This hostel provided a very good value for its price and I would recommend it to any young people who are staying in Istanbul.

Safety lockers can be opened easy, showers are to hard to adjust and no pressure. Sheets and towels are not clean, and the hostel has no lounge/bar.

Be wary of this hostel. I stayed on the 4th floor. Shower pressure is non existent, wifi barely works. Staff tried to be helpful but gave complete wrong information. Kind of felt staff were always in a different world. That said it's in a good location but that would be the only reason I would stay there. Hostel has no vibe actually IMO not a true hostel.

Cheers Midtown was very clean and quiet. The security was good, I was even locked in in the morning :) The rooms very very partitioned and this made it hard to meet others, which is something I look for when staying at hostels. There was not much character to the hostel yet, as it is still fairly new after renovations, and the location was a little away from where everything is going on. The staff were friendly enough, but not the most present. On the morning I had to leave, no one was around.

I enjoyed my time at Cheers Midtown Hostel very much, highly recommended , everything was perfect, friendly staff, perfect location if you like going around, you should definitely be in the center of the city. Room and the other facilities were clean and tidy, quick service ,zero problem .You will definitely enjoy every minute of being in Istanbul, Thanks everyone for the good company ,see you next time.

The atmospher is GOOD! All the staff like my family! They take care you always. Since I visit there at night and no dinner, they make dinner to me. And also have many good memory. The traffic Is good and easy for me, you just need few min to go to metro station. Everything Is good.
