Nice place to stay at. Not much to do there, but with that location there's enough things to do around. I would stay there again.

These guys are awesome, best parties, but you can just chill also. If you are worried about traveling by yourself this place will set you at ease. Respectable people only welcomed here. Cleanest place I have ever been yet. Tel Avi is safe, don't be scared, you will enjoy it.

Very cosy backpacker style hostel. We stayed for only one day but felt at home with the Chef Hostel family already! Looking forward to seeing everyone again..

People should not be hesitant to visit Israel. I was there during the recent trouble with Gaza and I did not feel threatened. All the trouble was around the Gaza strip so as long as you avoid those areas you will be fine. Israel is a very safe place and is very beautiful with lots to see and do.

I have stayed at many hostels in Tel Aviv and this is by far the best one. It's in the best area of tel aviv and always has great travelers who stay there and become friends. Also there's a really fun pub crawl every Saturday that begins at the hostel. Roy is also a very nice and pleasant person who will make your stay very easy. Plus there's a good chance you'llget to try some of the tasty food everyone cooks there. I'll definitely be going back to Chef Hostel!

I had an amazing time here and strongly recommend it!l Roy and his family and coworkers are great and very accommodating if needed. Israel is extremely safe considering the recent events and I never felt that my safety was at risk. Roy is very strict on safety which was a big plus. The location is great, just a 15 minute walk from the beach and right next to two main roads for partying and eating/adventuring. I will be staying here again when I return to Tel Aviv.

The best hostel in tlv in my opinion. Always meet new people! And you always can ask the staff all you wish to know (find places, find out how to get to other locations, etc.).

This makes the third time I've stayed at Chef Hostel since I moved to Israel two months ago. I will never stay at any other hostel when visiting Tel Aviv. The location is perfect, the staff makes you feel like family, and the hostel itself truly feels like home! I can't say enough good things about it. And please, don't let the media scare you away from Israel--- Tel Aviv is safe as ever now and Chef Hostel is right in the best part of this Mediterranean paradise!
