This is a great Hostel. Its in a great location, ideal for the central bus/train station and all the central areas of Tel Aviv. There is a great communal area where you can meet people and have beers. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Is greatly recommended.

The owner is the greatest friend that you can find in Tel Aviv. The hostel is very nice and funny. You can chill out and enjoy the great party atmosphere! We would definitely come back one more time!!!

This is a great hostel. The staff really impressed me with their hospitality, and took time to hang out with us at the hostel and then took us out to all their favorite spots in Tel Aviv. Good people and good times guaranteed!

Chefs hostel is by far the best hostel I have ever stayed in. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel like family, chef Roy is a funny character and will give you the local inside scoop on everything tel aviv. This place has a lot of charm and personality, you will want to stay in touch long after you check out. it is walking distance to the best bars, the beach and cute shopping. The hostel itself was always clean, friendly and safe. Go to chefs and give Roy a big hug for me. :)

I had a great time in Chef Hostel. The location is superb, easy to find, the owners are great and very helpful, the dorms spacious and clean. I met a lot of great people here and would love to come back again, it's my second house. Thanks Esther, Felix and Roy.

Depends on what you're looking for in a hostel. This is a more personal hostel, has a home like atmosphere. The staff is friendly, the owner was around to answer questions about Tel Aviv , the location is a short walk to the beach. The lockers were not big enough to place large items, other than that the hostel was nice, I enjoyed my two nights there.

I've stayed here twice now, and both times have been great. Very centrally located, very nice staff, and very chill and social atmosphere. My favorite part is definitely the back patio, which is a great place to hang out and meet people. An amazing value for the money, and highly recommended.

The hostel is perfect for backpackers and those who travel alone. People are opened and there is a grate common room and a kitchen. We had a small problem about accommodation but everything was at the end as we booked. In the shower cabin it would be good to have something where to put a shampoo and staff. Also more hooks for clothes in the bathroom. Hostel was clean and I would recommend it.

As the highest rated hostel in Israel was pretty disappointed. Stayed in the 10 bed room which was terrible - effectively a basement with 10 beds crammed in, pillows that collapsed to nothing when you put your head down and a tiny shower that opened on to the room meaning you had to bring towel and some clothes into the shower with you. That being said other rooms seemed better, staff were good, kitchen was good, and outdoor area was nice though very little organised in terms of activities.

I really really enjoyed my stay at chef's hostel! Roy and his father are really nice, and I felt treated as if I was a friend of the family. :) The place of the hostel is close to everything interesting, the nice backyard ideal for relaxing and there is always some party or social activity going on which you are invited to join. I was travelling alone, but there was always somebody to chat with at the hostel.

This was a great hostel to begin my trip in Israel. Awesome atmosphere, very easy to meet people. The hostel is constantly running social events which are well attended. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. I stayed in the 14 person mixed dorm, which was surprisingly peaceful even when full. I didn't have or hear of any complaints during my stay.

You get off the plane in Tel Aviv and this place is perfect. Close to the market, the old city, 20 minutes walk from the train. Also, it seems to attract a lot of interesting people.
