I really enjoyed my stay there. It was conveniently located near times square, train and stores/restaurants. I will definitely be staying at one of these hostels again.

Only good side is the location, but it's still a 15 minutes walk from the nearest subway station. Not clean. Whole place smells terrible, rooms too. Staff was fine. I stayed there in Dec. and it was very cold inside. My room feels like outside even with the heat but then, guess what, the hostel lost heat and hot water therefore the stay became a total suffering.

There was a broken Window in one of the rooms and it was very cold in there. Plus we didn't have hot water in the showers.. I hope they will fix this kind of problems for the next time

The hot water went out while we were there. Also, not enough restrooms for all the people they have. (One was out of order on my floor as well)

The lack of communal space makes this hostel seem closer to a budget hotel. While the location is great, as with most hostels in the US there is a lack of focus on gathering space and sharing space which makes interacting with other guests not very conducive. Changing this and the hostel would rank much better.

I was looking for a clean, simple and inexpensive bed in NYC for the night. The Chelsea Highline met these needs. It is a Hostel so the infrequent traveler will probably not be comfortable. It was clean, had the amenities I needed and was close to a bus line and close to the Chelsea Pier. I will stay again on my next travel to NYC

The entire experience was very easy and convenient. There is always someone on staff, which is great. Also a really great social environment! Good location, but a lil pricy. You get what you pay for...

Good location and clean. Nothing fancy, but worth it for the price.
