Free Wi-Fi!! Perfect! Breakfast included is pushing it! The breakfast consisted of a dry bagel and a cop of coffee - not a good start to a long day:)-

I had a really good time in the Chealsea Inn. My only complain was, they added tax to the amount that Hostelworld wrote I have to pay on arrival. I never had that before and think it would be nice to show the complete price.

Nice area between 5th and 6th Av. but half an hour walking dictance from Times Square. It is a nice, simple and clean place to stay. The only thing we didn't like was the really loud heating.

The Chelsea Inn was a great place to stay, in an excellent location with friendly, helpful staff. The only downside was the uncomfortable mattress. Overall an excellent place to stay in NYC.

The Hostel is great for location and the rooms & bathrooms are all clean and well fitted out (fridge, kettle etc). There is no common room or eating area and the breakfast is now provided by the cafe next door so not a "meeting people" hostel. Tha being said, if you want a quiet, clean, well positioned hostel then this is pretty good!

Location was great, staff was helpful, the Inn had lots of character and was clean. It is located next to two bars, one of which is a historical building that was used during prohabition, it had lots of character. The other was the splash bar, which was full of fun loving, but loud ppl. Noise sure travels. Thankfully the Inn supplied the rooms with ear plugs. USE THEM! I did and I didn't have noise issues. The street seemed to have fire trucks going down at night. take a sleep mask.

I had a fantastic stay at the Chelsea Inn. It is perfectly located..so close to subway, great shopping, the meat packing district, greenwich village and SoHo. It is a boutique hotel with real character, great staff and cleaners that regularly clean the room. Some reviews suggest that it was awkward sharing a bathroom but within the 10 days I stayed, did not once see the other person that I was sharing the bathroom with..it felt like mine! I will be back next time!!
