I loved the location, only 12 blocks away from Times Square. Cleaning was ok and the staff were good. But I think in general there is a problem with America's places because all other hotels and hostels in Europe that I stayed were quite different in style and were cheaper. Other than that I had a really good time there!

The hostel was in a great location, very close to Penn station and easy to get to from the airport using the airtrain and subway. The rooms are large, which is nice, but there was no character to them. The beds were squeaky, there was nowhere to lock up bags in the room, and when I rented a towel I got a hand towel. There is no 'main lounge' area to meet people and hang out. There was a patio outside, but in January it's cold and snowy, plus that's where everyone is smoking. Not amazing.

I liked the 4-beds room - it costs like a hostel room but feels like a really nice hotel room for 4 people with a very good bathroom - so good to have an ordinary bed and a bedside table in place of the usual bunk beds...

The wi fi connection didn't work during my whole week. The "kitchen facilities " are really poor.

The staff was very helpful and they were all nice and the location is just awesome... The only thing I felt that was missing were lockers... always good to have it in dorms... but overall a really really great place and I recommend to anyone visiting NYC

The location is excellent, for a musical fanatic you can get there quickly and return safely. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was pretty clean I guess but the carpet smelled funny, and I hope they can add some lockers to the dorm room in the future, instead of renting safe box , although you can leave your laptop with the staff for free if you go out.
