Great place! Lots of character throughout the entire hostel, and the staff were friendly and helpful, and could speak English well (which is good, since my Chinese is Terrible). Two times the water in the shower was not really warm, there are hostels whit beter locations. There was really cold outside and there for it was alsow werry cold in the public places, toilets, showers, reception but maybe its like this in all south hostels in the winter. Very helpful staff, relatively good location...everything in Chengdu is spread so far apart! The best part of this hostel was the willingness of the staff to help you in every way! They're eager to make recommendations. Also, if you\'re down to try local Sichuan street food, there are two stands a couple of minutes from the hostel that open really late. The bathrooms and showers are outside, so it's pretty cold if you come in the winter months. very helpfull staff, good food!
location is good, near trainstation, and staff will tell you all about buslines etc (very handy hand-out map!)
in hostel there are many nooks and crannies to sit in, though it lacks one big common room
20Y for booking traintickets and only 10Y for selfservice-laundry!!!
good choice for a Chengdu-stay!very helpfull staff, good food!
