The staff is very friendly and helpful, possible to book tours but inform good about the conditions of e.g a nature park you want to visit. It might not be the right season. Rooms are ok, showers better than average. I would recommend this hostel for backpackers.

Great staff, fun dumpling party, easy to book trains and tours. Probably not enough showers but we made do.

This hostel is very charming and everything is made to make you feel at home. We especially enjoyed the little garden and the breakfast. The hostel also organizes day trips to the main attractions around, which are dry convenient and affordable! Staff speak really good English and are very friendly

First impression to Mix Hostel was the entrance hard to locate..however look into interior that it has a style I can say everyone definitely like it. It was lovely. The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly. There I have to say the staff to my deep impression name calls Landy, who is the best hostel staff I ever seen across the hostels in the world I ever been. She was very great. Here I would like have special thanks to her.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in, with the friendliest/most helpful staff imaginable. Comfortable beds, cheap food/beer, close to city centre. Me and 7 other staff from our company all stayed there and all felt the same about Mix's place. Faultless. I look forward to staying there again, in the hopefully not to distant future. Thanks again for your help Karen!

I really liked this hostel. I ended up there because others were full, but found it one of the nicest hostels I have stayed in. Very nice building, with lots of pretty corners to sit. Dorm and fascilities were fine, staff helpful. There is a nice bar/restaurant downstairs. Only minus point: Putting on a loud film in the bar kills the atmosphere.

A central location with a very modern design and furnishings. The check-in is located in the same place as the restaurant, cafe, bar, pool table area, so there is strong communal feeling to the hostel that represents the best of the spirit of hosteling. I would easily stay here again.

Loved the character and atmosphere of the hostel . It has a nice sociable area and was a good place to meet people. The food on the menu was great and reasonably priced as well. Drinks were a little on the expensive side. Booked a couple of tours and received good advice from tour staff there. The beds have curtains on them for privacy which is also a nice bonus :)

We are now for one year on our trip by bicycle from Germany/Austria to New Zealand. We usually sleep in our tents, but in cities camping is not recommended. Therefore we sleep in guesthouses, hostel and hotels up to 4 stars. We stayed in this hostel for several days and we highly appreciated it. Friendly and helpful staff, which speaks English fluently, well organised and flexible. Organizes many trips for you. Clean rooms, showers and toilets ! good food and a warm atmosphere !

We booked for 1 night and came back for it for another 3 nights. One of the most fun and atmosphere hostels I've stayed at. The decoration is just so rich and worth of taking pictures of. The hygiene condition is also admiring, considering that there's no private rooms in this hostel. Definitely THE place to stay at if you are in Chengdu!

Staff was outstanding and friendly. Great communal atmosphere in the common area, met many amazing people in our 4-day stay there. It's too bad we couldn't stay longer. Right next to the subway station, and a short walk from a bunch of different places around. If I have the chance to go to Chengdu again, will easily choose this place again.

Very good hostel, good location. Easy walk to metro and bus stations. The staff were very friendly, very helpful, easy to get along with. I also stayed in Mix's new hostel, Flip Flop Lounge. That hostel was even better. I would tell anyone going to Chengdu to go to Flip Flop. The place has a great atmosphere, incredible staff, great facilities, great location. Made my stay in Chengdu an unforgettable one!

Excellent hostel. Staff are really helpful and friendly. Atmosphere is great. Almost like a party the minute you walk in. The breakfast is really good value for money. The hostel is also in a great location for exploring Chengdu or for using it as a base to explore the surrounding area.

Very nice hostel with funny staff. The atmosphere is very good, I especially like the bar. It´s cheap and well located, near Wenshu monastery. Definitely recommended for people who want to have fun and meet other travellers. There are many activities you can join every week. Learning to make dumplings was very fun!
