PERFECT, amazing atmosphere, staff is very kind and very helpful, you can ask them anything. They also propose tours very interesting and not so expensive. I love mix hostel

i was surprised by the friendly staff!!!!

Me and my friend really enjoyed staying at this hostel. We stayed in two different rooms, both two bed rooms, both were clean, comfortable, with air-con which acts as a heater and electric blankets. The second room had a window which wouldn't shut, but that was the only problem. The atmosphere was nice, the bar area is a great place to hang out. The staff were friendly and helpful and we met some great people. Definitely recommended, good value too.

Very nice hostel, helpful and nice staff and also the owner is a "professional" traveller, nice folk who knows more than enough what are the needs of his guests. I would absolutely go back and I recommend it...all good in the hood!

Great hostel. Very nice rooms with heat and electric blankets. Great common room and food. Staff is very friendly and helpful in arranging excursions and Tibet permits. Dumpling night was very fun! Great location - walking distance to sights.

Stayed here a few times now- excellent location and easily accessible by the subway. Staff are brilliant, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! Electric blankets in the room are AMAZING and a great touch!

THIS IS REVIEW FOR LAZYBONES HOSTEL. We booked through Mix but as private double we were booked into Lazybones. Had a fantastic experience in this hostel. The staff threw an excellent Christmas party and made our Christmas away from home. Large comfortable and clean rooms (cleaned daily). Super helpful staff available 24 hours. Good free wi-fi and an excellent and very tasty choice of food in the restaurant. We booked to come back to this hostel again on our return to Cheng Du!! RECOMMENDED!!!

Chengdu is humid even when its cold, so be warned you blankets will probably feel wet. The staff was fantastic as were the trips they were able to arrange. Very friendly and usually something to do. Even when we blew out the electricity on Christmas even the party went on and everyone had a blast.

Mix was a nice hostel. The rooms were warm and the blankets awesome. The showers and toilets were almost outside so after getting out of the hot showers need to be quick or you get cold. There were not that many people the night life seemed to be at the sister hostel Lazy Bones. However they do a wake up service and the staff are extremely helpful and fun. Definitely recommend. I think would be great in Summer.

We really enjoyed this hostel. The staff was very knowledgeable of the area. They were able to set us up for our tour at the panda reserve including holding the panda which was why we had come to Chengdu. It is located by several little downtown areas and right across the street from the metro station. We were able to get to a huge market easily on the train. They also have a restaurant/bar at the facility that had good food and was reasonably priced. Room was very nice, heated blankets etc

I booked a private room online with the Mix hostel and was given a room at the Lazy Bones Hostel (my second stay there). I like the vibe of the place and the staff were super helpful and friendly plus they organize fun things to do for the guests. The room was spacious and there was plenty of hot water. The location was good as was the food. I would certainly stay here again if in Chengdu and I recommend the place to others. The staff speak really good English too.

It's the best Hostel I ever stayed :) I love it and can recommend this hostel to everyone! The staff is very nice and helpful and they are always in for fun ;) The location is perfect, Wen Shu area and with a bus/metro station nearby. I wanna see thanks to all of them!

Hostel was near the metro line but around 30 mins walk to the centre. It is full of character and curtains on the beds are a great idea. Reading lights on every bed. Common area was not very busy ever, but I was allowed into the Lazybones Hostel common area (sister hostel) which was much better. They run a great tour to see the pandas here.

Lovely place.

Mix hostel is highly recommended. A good mix of western and Chinese tourists. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hostel arranges activities like city tours, dumpling parties, tours to the panda research centre and to the Sichuan opera etc.

Hot water not always available

Nice and cosy hostel. The staff was friendly and very helpfull. The hostel was near all kinds of buses and the metro line 1. Would highly recommend this hostel or their sister hostel Lazy Bones.

Its a little bit cold , but The room with AC will be ok ,overall good place to stay .

i stayed here only for one night, but i found it's a very nice place , staff is very helpful and friendly, one of the best hostel in chengdu.
