We were actually moved to Lazybones (same owner) after our booking - Very very helpful and friendly staff, excellent location (better than Mix Hostel), very nice rooms. Highly recommended.

Amazing place!! This place has the friendliest, most helpful and cheerful staff i've come across in 10 months of hostels. All Chinese but good English, always ready to help you and with a big smile. Lots of activities in the hostel, lots of tours organized. Cheap bar/restaurant, great food. Fantastic place to meet people. Only minuses: I changed beds cause my matress was dead. And no shower on the first floor. I stayed here longer than in any other place, and was sad to leave. Thanks, guys!!!

What a great hostel! When I think of what the best hostel should have, I think this one has it all: easily accessible via public transportation, clean and friendly/welcoming atmosphere, fun and interesting clientele, very helpful and friendly staff, tourist info available, delicious food (should you choose to eat there)...the list goes on and on! We stayed here 3 nights and enjoyed every one of them!

Everything was excellent and the staff were fantastic. It makes all the difference when the staff are willing to help. That is what makes a good hostel a great one.

Absolutely perfect hostel. Really lovely helpful staff who we'll miss. Had great fun at their dumpling party. These people made our stay in Chengdu so comfortable and enjoyable, a great place to socialise too.

ChengDu Mix is by FAR the best hostel I've ever stayed at. The staff alone made it #1! So helpful, friendly, insightful, and they all spoke great English. The rooms were very clean, private, and inviting. The common areas are very cozy and welcoming. My favourite part was viewing all of the pictures that Mix has taken and framed around the hostel. You could take just as many pics inside the hostel as out!! Very warm atmosphere! Great food, tours, and overall experience! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The place has an excellent location next to the Wenshu monastery. The staff is incredible; they will bend over backwards to help you fully experience the awesomeness of Chengdu.

Absolutely loved Mix Hostel! The rooms are great and cheap, and the location is convenient. However, the true selling point of Mix Hostel is the atmosphere and staff. The hostel exudes the quintessential hostel feel: travelers from all over the world exchanging traveling stories and advice over beers. As far as the staff, I couldn't speak more highly. They were extremely friendly and helpful (and spoke great English!), and were always available for information. The offered tours are also great!

Excellent services! I received a confirmation from the hostel soon after I finished my booking. Staff were very helpful. Very clean and I loved the open areas (restaurant, bar etc). Free beer for new guests. We had a great 'happy hour'. The hostel also organized some 1-day or half-day tours. Some are even free. Loved the deco. Very relaxing. Will definitely choose Mix Hostel the next time I visit Chengdu.

This is a great hostel, and the staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. There's a nice social vibe, but not a super rowdy feel.

The hostel is great! I found it a bit far from the center of the city but it is very near the Old Town and the temple... so, it isn't too bad. Other than that, it is just excellent. Theservice is awesome, the staff helpful and friendly, the food pretty descent and affordable, the rooms very cozy, esp on the last floor with the common bathrooms. I really like the fact that they put ensense everywhere...I stayed there once and then went back, really: There really isn't anyting to complain about.

Great location - near metro station and close to the main street. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The only downside was there was no kitchen, so I couldn't do any cooking. However, the hostel has a restaurant and bar with decently priced meals and drinks. Overall, I had a great time here and would stay at Lazybones again.

need more shower room. - it's pretty packed in the evening. The street is not difficult to find. It just not really the center of the city and need to take bus to get around. It's quite a lot walk.

The staff wasn't extremely friendly, but 1 or 2 of the people were very helpful in booking events and finding ways around the city. Some of the staff spent more time playing pool than talking with the guests. The common area is nice, but the furniture is very uncomfortable and the cushions smell funky. The room was nice and clean. The maids kept the room clean. They didn't offer any toiletries and the toilet paper is rationed out. The stay was ok and I would probably stay again.
