It is my first time to Chengdu and also in Mix Hostel. I really love this place and people here, especially the two young smiling beauties, Elaine and Bella. It is tidy and colorful on the third floor, since many beautiful flowers and great sunshine, even there is no WIFI on the thrid floor. I\'d like to stay here for long and choose here when I come back to Chengdu again.

friendly and helpfull staff with nice suroundings but it was overshadowed by lack of regular cleaning especially floors of rooms and commmunal showers. Easily remedied if they want to!

To be exact, i stayed at Lazybones which is under one management with Mix Hostel, but since i can't make a booking for triple room in Lazybones via hostelworld, i made a book via Mix. It was awesome with this hostel. We stayed for 1 night before leaving to Jiuzhaigou and 2 nights after. The staff were really helpful (Violet, Kaye, Coney, Ava, Ray). It also very very near with metro/subway station and also pass by a bus to Xin Nan Men station which is very convenient since it's big station

Elaine was excellent, best host I ever met in a hostel. She helped with everything and really put in alot of work to help us two Irish guys to plan our crazy 3 weeks in China. Elaine was very knowledgable and great fun. All the girls were a great help. The food was excellent and the vibe was very chilled out and relaxed. I would highly recommend this hostel.

Fabulous room with electric blanket. Dumpling party was fun and the beer was cheap, Also the staff were so friendly, one lad on reception really went out of his way to help us out with a train ticket. Good for excursions.

One of my favorite hostels so far, nice & competent staff. I really recommend the panda-tour. Really enjoyed their Western & Asian food, fair prices.

An excellent place to stay - very handy for the station, and in the right direction for the town centre. The map of the city that the hostel provide is particularly useful, especially with bus routes and all places of interest included. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the trips that they run. The food was good value and tasty. The only problem was that we were there in the middle of winter, and it was a bit cold, especially in the common areas.

Lots of organized tour groups and hostel activities. Friendly, helpful staff. Great in-house restaurant with Sichuan and Western dishes. Close to public transportation. Across the street from teahouses with views of the canal. I woke up to the sounds of birds chirping, which I\'ve never experienced anywhere else in China. Interesting travelers. Relaxing common space with fountains and plants. The city\'s so nice that I am planning to go back, and I\'m definitely staying at Mix Hostel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Twin private room was peaceful and clean. Only minus from so called 'guided' tour to Panda research center, there was basically no guide, just the driver who spoke only chinese

Me and my friend really enjoyed staying at this hostel. We stayed in two different rooms, both two bed rooms, both were clean, comfortable, with air-con which acts as a heater and electric blankets. The second room had a window which wouldn't shut, but that was the only problem. The atmosphere was nice, the bar area is a great place to hang out. The staff were friendly and helpful and we met some great people. Definitely recommended, good value too.
