We enjoyed our stay at the hostel. We booked for 2 nights and we stayed 4! The hostel has everything you need as a traveller: friendly and knowledgable staff, clean facilities, warm shower, quiet, nice commun area, good wifi, washing and drying qrea for the clothes... it was great. Location is perfect, next to the metro and frequent buses to town center. If I come back to Chengdu, I would stay there.
Great atmosphere, nice seating area on the ground floor and on the top floor around the laundry hanging area. Location convenient near the Wen Shu temple and short walk to metro station. Bathrooms seem to be cleaned frequently and the staff are very helpful. Wifi was occasionally spotty but that is to be expected in China. A little bit of a hassle having to go upstairs to use the showers, one of the room's doors was also quite difficult to open. Otherwise highly recommend staying at Chengdu Mix!
The hostel is really good! one of the best i've been to in China! Very nice Staff, beautiful house, just really good! BUT don't book the Jiuzhaigou-trip from this hostel!!!!!!!!!! You'll end up paying about 300RMB more than other guests, you have to travel with a chinese tourist group and listen to an awful tourist guide, the food is not enough and kind of disgusting and they want to force you to buy stuff and spend money for extras (we didn't and you won't even get, what you're promised)
Good, quiet location, easily accessible by buses (2 km from the center). The staff speaks good English and is very helpful. The rooms are cozy and clean. Hostel is definitely recommended.
The place was clean and safe, but nothing special. No point ordering food there. The location was ok.
This is a great hostel if you're looking to save a little money without sacrificing atmosphere and convenience. The staff was very helpful, I met some great people who were traveling through, and, for the most part, everything worked really well. I saw a few cockroaches near the eating areas at different points in my trip, but the hostel seemed to be kept very clean overall. I would stay again and recommend it to anyone looking to save some cash and stay near the food/sites/etc. by Wen Shu Yuan.
It was a really nice hostel. The accommodation is very good and the showers are glorious. To visit a lot of things its pretty far either by bus or tour. Thats because its not close in the city. On friday we had free all you can eat dumplings which were really good. The people and staff were pretty cool as well. Im sad to hear they are closing the bar but the bar man and the bar itself was amazing for a friday night chill with the others in the hostel. It was fairly clean and good value.
The hostel was very good and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, explaining the different options and trips that were available. It was a good experience, I'll definitely come back next time!

Good hostel but bad location, choose one nearer the centre of the city
Ex location helpful staff clean and good meals at reasonable prices Highly recomended
Amazing hostel! The staff is nice and very helpful. The dorms are comfortable and the common bathrooms clean. There are several nice restaurants nearby. I definitely recommend this hostel.
Staff was amazing, Hann was so friendly and helpful
The location of the hostel is very easy to access to many places within and around Chengdu by public transportation means such as metro, bus and airport shuttle bus. The hostel is so cozy, nice and quiet. It has its own characteristic. The staff are very friendly, helpful, always give you all the information you need, response you promptly.
The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere and decoration were very welcoming. Facilities were good enough, including stable wifi, hair-dryer, locker, padlock and etc. The location is perfect because it is close to the wenshu monastery and the renmin north rd station, and the bus stop for bus to the airport. If you want to be closer to the center of town, I would recommend their sister hostels, which are Flipflop and Lazybones.
Very good atmosphere, located out of the way from the city centre but very nice staff and room.
Nice place to stay with really helpful staff
As good as any hostel for a relaxing time after long days of trudging around. A little quieter than most hostels I have visited although I think that the average traveler in China is a little different than some other places. The staff were helpful and very fun. Han and Helena in particular were great to talk to and I think that the latter thought I was a drunk after cleaning out the hostel's supply of gin (I swear there was little left). Signed, The gin and tonic guy
Really enjoyed my time here staff really friendly, helpful and good food in the hostel and a big open area to meet other travellers so overall a good place to stay.
This hostel was awesome loved every min of it, perfect location, comfy beds and the staff are just too cute!!!
