I can\'t recommend Sam\'s unfortunately. The room is tired, the shower curtain is 10 times tooooo long and the management don\'t seem to notice it, no new toilet paper in room every day. The room was just very tired.

The hostel is located at behind another hotel. It's was quite difficult to find. The check-in counter is far too small in handling enquiries & check-in procedures. However, the counter staff is friendly & helpful. The air-con unit in our room didn't work just because we were given a wrong type of remote control device!!!! It cost us abt an hr after waiting for the technician to rectify. Overall, a lot of rooms for improvement.

Between the noise, the old quality of the rooms, and the smoke, we definitely wouldn't stay here again. The staff was responsive, but there were just too many problems that put a damper on our stay.

Was very well taken care of by the staff, as they were able to help me with so many of my questions and requests. A great place for first time visitors to Chengdu, and I would definitely stay there again if I have the chance.

Good place to stay if you don't want a high end modern hostel. The funiture were really old and seems so used but everything works. The location is good - around 5min to the Mao sculpture and 10min to the city
