Stayed in the 4 person dorm. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were clean. The staff was extremely helpful and spoke English well. They had dvds, ping pong, pool, and even met me at the train station. Highly recommended!

It was really cozy and good, but I could hear every single word from next door.... and the lock is ... just lock,,...I was shocked but still it was good experience.

While in Chengdu I stayed here and at The Loft. As far as atmosphere goes, The Loft wins hands down (it's one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at). But Traffic Inn is quite good and if you are planning to take the bus to Leshan, Jiuzhaigou, etc., this is a very convenient choice. The dorm was a good value and the staff were pretty nice. It has a very relaxed common area as well as a restaurant. There's info for arranging trips in Sichuan and Tibet too. Overall, very good hostel!

The entire staff male and female at the desk were really excellent and went out of their way to help. Some of the best I have seen anywhere in the world even at very expensive hotels. The chinese food in the cafe is very average as they try to make American Chinese food and not real chinese food. It is also not cheap. Lots of food outside. The owner is too cheap to fix the computers so they will run well and he is charging $1 USA per hour. This also drove the staff nuts.

A first time hostel stay for us sctogenerian travellers-very enjoyable. So much info being shared by the hostel, and also the travellers. Bright and chirpy staff, who seem to find work to do without instruction. There probably is, but so discreet it seemed as though they were looking for something to do. Great work ethic.

The staff was awesome! I was on Traffic Inn in the beginning of april 2013. There was very clean and fun with the games to be social with the other trawellers. We make dumplings and have general fun with the staff. Thanks for the time I was there. From Signe Andersen Denmark

We stayed at Traffic Inn hostel last week for one night in a 3 bedroom private en-suite. The room was clean with 3 separate beds and a decent bathroom with toiletries. The staff at the hostel were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The hostel also arranges different trips, we chose the panda tour and to see the Chinese opera both of which had transport including to and from the hostel. The location was great in walking distance to a majority of places. We had a great stay.

The staff was wonderful and helpful, they catered to our needs immediately. We stayed in a three bed private dorm, the room was well presented and clean! The communal bathroom was average in terms of hygiene. The showers were quite slippery and there was bad ventilation. Would recommend the hostel installing a few hooks or a shelve to store towels/clothes.

The hostel staff were very helpful in helping us to find Sichuan hot pot, Tianfu Square, the People's Park, and other attractions. We were grateful also to be able to buy our train tickets from the hostel desk. I appreciate all the posters brochures posted about activities in Chengdu and the surrounding areas. Great atmosphere, very helpful staff, and a good central location close to many places.

Stayed here two times (6 bed dorm and 2 bed private room). Both times really happy. Best thing: There is a cheap Sushi place (4 yuan for a basic maki roll) nearby! I forgot to ask for the deposit for the keys, the staff reminded me after my leave and transferred the money via paypal, thanks for that!

I stayed at a 2dbl bed and room was big and clean. The only two complaints that I have is that the housekeeping ladies are very noisy during the morning and the tour conductor assigned for The Panda Center and Sichuan Opera is a completly unfriendly man. He does not speak a word of english, he arrived 15 minutes late the first day we went to see Pandas, we spent another 10 minutes in the gas station, and there were any time compensation at the end. Tours cost money, so my time.
