Location right next to the bus station is very convenient. Our room was actually located in the adjacent hotel, accessed via an unconventional entrance. The staff recommended a one day tour to emei Shan and le Shan which we decided to to book. Then staff told us that the tour doesn't run anymore and told us to go ourselves via the bus station next door. Without a guide, most of the day was wasted and we saw very little of the mountain (signs in Chinese). Air conditioner didn't work for heating.

hostel was nice and very clean. We stayed in a 3 Bedroom and they changed our towels everyday. The location was good and it's close the metro station. Only bad thing: it's expensive to use the washing mashine. But all in all it was really nice there =).

Very happy with everything overall. Staff were very friendly and good at their jobs. Very impressed with the housekeeping. Only wish the laundry was more affordable.

Very wonderful place, we enjoyed our stay so much! Private room with shared bathroom was a delicious experience, complete with heated blankets for those slightly cold Chengdu evenings. Bathrooms were slightly stinky but I mean, welcome to China.

The only drawback was that that the rooms were quite cold; otherwise everything has been done so we could enjoy the time we spend in Chengdu!

We stayed in a double private with shared bathroom on the first floor. The heating worked great, the room was clean as were the bathrooms. The staff was great--Jason taught us how to play chinese chess and Jasmine took us to the great market behind the hostel. Go there to eat and take pictures. Also, location is great--right by Xinnanmen bus station. We highly recommend you stay here!

Yasmin is the strongest asset this hostel has got, she should get a pay rise! The hostel itself is good; hot showers, decent Wifi, Good resturant (albeit a little expensive). Plugs and personal light next to bed always a bonus. Lockers are a little bit small. I think they are renovating so there was f debris laying around but it looked near finished, so i think this will improve it! Its literally on the bus stations doorstep which is brilliant and easy. Dave's Oasis bar directly opposite chilled

I think the staff are very friendly and they speak Chinese and English very well! Willing to helper visitors for enquiries The accommodation is very clean and especially the shared toilet is very clean I really like this hostel. Also the location is quite good, as it is near to a famous bus station in Chengdu, which the taxi drivers and most bus drivers know where's the exact location of the hostel Beautiful scene opposite to the hostel, facing a nice river

I live near Chengdu and have stayed at several hostels. This is probably my least favorite in terms of fun but its amazing location ensures that I come here almost every time. The bar and restaurant are fine but there's not much of a social atmosphere and people go elsewhere after they've finished eating. Otherwise, it's a fine hostel. Free towel and locker without fee or deposit. Basic hostel cleanliness and facilities. And AWESOME LOCATION. Close to great bars, restaurants, and transportation.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were great, very helpful and knowledgeable. The door locks were really annoying and loud though!

Stayed in an Ensuite. Room was nice and they cleaned daily. Most of the tours they offered were in Chinese only, so you might be better off doing it on your own. Restaurant is good. Wifi didn't work in the room. TV in the room only had Chinese channels. The bus station was right next to the hostel, which was perfect for day trips.

Everything is nice, but the towels is not in good condition, need to change asap, and the way to the rooms from their office is very dark in night, put on some lights at the staircase. It is really a good stay.

The beds are comfortable and the room has good sized lockers. Cleaners come around every day and make the beds, empty the bin, mop the floor and even give you a fresh towel - every day! In the cafe/bar beera are cheap and the food is good. Both western food and local food are served. The staff, who have all given themselves 'western' names are friendly and helpful, speaking good english. Tours can be organised through them and they will also help you by writing chinese phrases and translations.

The attached restaurant had terrible food. The travel arrangements we booked for Lhasa were terrible. Our guide in Lhasa spoke very poor English and she offered no information on Tibet unless asked. She sent me with a different tour guide when visiting the Potala Palace and she left. She greatly overcharged us for a visit to a Tibetan family, initially telling us we would visit a village 2 hours outside of Lhasa and then stopping 35 minutes outside of Lhasa. Her name was Denzin.
