Really good experience! Hostel is very homey. Nice kitchen with a view of the ocean. The wonderful family that runs the place were very helpful with planning our day trips and activities. A more quite atmosphere, which was nice after many nights in more rambunctious hostels.
Friendly hostel, comfortable bed, lots of power points, good size personal lockers, nice breakfast. Some traffic noise in dorm room. Would stay again.
Brilliant location, clean and very helpful staff. It wasn't particularly easy to socialise with other guests in the evenings, but it didn't really matter!
There was a soiled with Intimate Juices spread on the bead. The rest of the place was clean. the staff nice and helpful
We enjoyed our stay at Chepatagonia Hostel. The staff are very good at explaining and organising the day trips around the area and were very helpful during our stay. It was a bit noisy for us but that was just due to other guests drinking each night and we found it hard to sleep but that was just our bad luck.
Great hostel, excellent location and lovely staff. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in Puerto Madryn. The 4-bed room I stayed in was plenty big enough with lots of storage space for backpacks etc. The wifi at the hostel was also the fastest I've used since being in Argentina!
Very good location direct at the beach. Good bikes to rent for a trip to the sealion colony. Owners are a friendly young family with nice kids. Rooms are clean.
Unfortunetly we were not allowed to eat ceareals in the kitchen after checkout, but besides that i would recommend the hostel. It's very clean and in a good place.
We absolutely loved our stay here, the room was lovely and bright, always hot water in the shared bathroom, good kitchen to cook in and breakfast was good, what also made it great we're the owners and staff, super friendly and helpful, we booked trips through the hostel and totally recommend Punta Tombo for penguin lovers, which I am ! The location of this hostel is brilliant so close to the beach and amazing views, would 100% recommend, rooms at back are quieter, you must stay here :)))))
Really good hostel near the beach. Comes with well-equipped kitchen, TV and outside sitting area. Gabriel and Maru are super helpful
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Maru, Gabriel and Facundo were all so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The hostel itself is lovely, the rooms are comfortable, showers are great and there is porridge for breakfast!!! Everywhere is very clean, the kitchen is excellently equipped and there is a ping pong table! The hostel is right on the beach, about 2 blocks from the town centre and 10 minutes to the bus station. It was so lovely to stay in a homely hostel so far away from home!
I had a really nice stay in Chepatagonia Hostel in November 2014. I stayed for 3 nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful, with tours to Peninsula Valdes. They even knew you by your first name, which was really nice, it felt personal. The hostel is located very close to the beach, but it's also easy to walk into the centre. The rooms in the hostel have lockers for your personal belongings. Breakfast was included, but not a lot of choice. Overall a great stay, very relaxed atmosphere!

This was one of the most enjoyable hostels we've stayed during our 4-week-trip! The rooms are big, the kitchen is always clean and well-appointed and there is a cleaning service for the bathrooms every day! If you have any questions - just ask at the reception - the couple who runs the hostel have every useful information on their minds!
