Unfortunetly we were not allowed to eat ceareals in the kitchen after checkout, but besides that i would recommend the hostel. It's very clean and in a good place.
We absolutely loved our stay here, the room was lovely and bright, always hot water in the shared bathroom, good kitchen to cook in and breakfast was good, what also made it great we're the owners and staff, super friendly and helpful, we booked trips through the hostel and totally recommend Punta Tombo for penguin lovers, which I am ! The location of this hostel is brilliant so close to the beach and amazing views, would 100% recommend, rooms at back are quieter, you must stay here :)))))
Really good hostel near the beach. Comes with well-equipped kitchen, TV and outside sitting area. Gabriel and Maru are super helpful
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Maru, Gabriel and Facundo were all so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The hostel itself is lovely, the rooms are comfortable, showers are great and there is porridge for breakfast!!! Everywhere is very clean, the kitchen is excellently equipped and there is a ping pong table! The hostel is right on the beach, about 2 blocks from the town centre and 10 minutes to the bus station. It was so lovely to stay in a homely hostel so far away from home!
I had a really nice stay in Chepatagonia Hostel in November 2014. I stayed for 3 nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful, with tours to Peninsula Valdes. They even knew you by your first name, which was really nice, it felt personal. The hostel is located very close to the beach, but it's also easy to walk into the centre. The rooms in the hostel have lockers for your personal belongings. Breakfast was included, but not a lot of choice. Overall a great stay, very relaxed atmosphere!

This was one of the most enjoyable hostels we've stayed during our 4-week-trip! The rooms are big, the kitchen is always clean and well-appointed and there is a cleaning service for the bathrooms every day! If you have any questions - just ask at the reception - the couple who runs the hostel have every useful information on their minds!
Thank you Chepatagonia for all your information about what to do around Puerto Madryn and letting us leave our backpacks for the day. It was great to always be greeted with a smile :) We also enjoyed being so close to the beach!! Best wishes Sareh and Hugo
Very friendly and helpful couple with a good team to keep the place running. Great location - walk to the street and there's the ocean! It's also close to the centre. Nice kitchen, plenty of places to relax, everywhere very tranquil.
Really lovely hostel, helpful staff and nice communal kitchen.
The location was perfect - right across the main road from the beach. Gabriel and Maru were great hosts, and very helpful when it came to recommending restaurants and organizing excursions. The hostel was cleaner than my residencia in Buenos Aires! Another bonus for us was the extensive movie collection, as we were pretty worn out after the excursions during the day and wanted to watch some films. Wifi worked in our room, the kitchen upstairs, and beds were very comfortable!
