Godo is the best! My girlfriend and I stayed 5 night and would gladly do it again! I would recommend that you do a Google map search of his location so you know what you're getting into. He is in the city of Villejuif which is outside of Paris. He is a short walk from a major metro stop and it takes about 30 minutes and costs about 1,30 Euro to get into the city. There are several grocery stores in his area, and many banks.

The owner, Godo, is a great guy. You are staying in his house, basically as a family guest. Location of his house is 20 minutes outside the city center by metro. The metro station is just 5 minutes walking away from the house. Print your directions before you leave home.

Chez Godo is a very good hostel for travelers which can give you a warm atmosphere in France. The host is a charming man and very friendly. If you cook for him, you can try to request of his French Kiss... :)

We liked this place very much! The room was like a little appartment and was clean and tidy. It was a bit farther away from the city centre but it was easy to get there with metro. There were shops and a bakery nearby so we hac everything we needed. The host is most welcoming and gave good instructions for both arriving and leaving the place. A lovely place that we will return to on our next trip!

Great place to stay! Clean, comfortable, close to the metro. Godo is such a great host. Helps with any information that may be needed. Would stay here again without question.

Ouu.Nice place, nice people.Telll you all what you need to know Thanks Chezo for place where to stay :)

Although we did not lose anything, it would be better that rooms can be locked from inside and outside as well as comfort room (toilet and bathroom). Godofroy, the owner is quite helpful and he always sees to it that he talks to us everyday when we are home from all our wanderings in Paris. He even brought us to the market and he and my wife cooked our last dinner in Paris. His daughter also joined us for the dinner before we left. It was a very nice experience.
