A really nice place to stay in. Hoped I could stay there longer even. The place has a really good character and is just impeccably clean. There is a pet dog onsite which might have been something people might want to know, but I like dogs anyway so that was actually quite a nice bonus. Would totally recommend this place!

Such a nice place to stay and the staff is just great. I have stayed at many, many hostels but this must be the best of them all. Perfection!

It's very nice to talk with Nato and Trista, they were so friendly and easy going. We felt at home when we were there, especially the cozy room, gave us a great sleep after an exhausting day. The room is decorated simply with a good sense of taste. They have plenty good books and CDs, you can feel art everywhere. I love this hostel and hope Nato and Trista can open a bigger hostel soon, and we'll definitely come back to visit them!

I would highly recommend Chez Kiki if you are staying in Kaoshiung. The place is clean, good location near MRT station / public transport, nice bed and the most important thing is the excellent hospitality shown by their staff. The owner (Nato) take great effort to explain and help us plan our activities in Kaoshiung even though we just spent a night there. I would say is the best value for money hostel I had stayed so far.

I seldom write reviews, but this one is soooooo impressive that I almost feel it guilty if I do not recommend it to others. I had never seen any other hostel as cozy as Chez Kiki. The decorations are simple and modern. The rooms are spacious. All the facilities are clean and tidy. The location is good, about 5 minutes walk from the nearest metro station, with two other stations within walking distance. Nato is a friendly and helpful host who gives useful information. Will definitely come back!

One of the very best hostel experiences I had. Nice place with really cute decorations. Really relaxing and home-like. Host and hostess, Nato and Trista, are very warmhearted, easy-going and caring. You could ask them any question about Kaohsiung. Next time while I get back to Kaohsiung, I will definitely choose CHEZ KIKI again.

CHEZ KIKI in Kaohsiung is quite beautiful and warm, making me calm and relaxed. I love its atmosphere and decoration~ It's very lovely and comfortable! The location is great. The neighborhood is dotted around nice but not expensive restaurants. Night market and MRT/Bus stations are only few minutes walk as well. Nato and Trista are very welcoming, friendly and a wealth of local knowledge. I feel so worthy to go to the places they recommend!

I had thought about going to Kenting for a few nights to enjoy the beach, but I was glad I decided to base myself in Kaohsiung instead. It seemed to offer more possibilities for exploring the south part of Taiwan. And I'm glad I decided to stay at CHEZ KIKI. The owners were very down to earth, warm, and helpful. I can tell they puts a lot of thought and heart into making the space what it is. Probably my best hostel experience of all time.

Very charming little hostel. The place had a nice atmosphere, especially in the common area. There was a great wall in the there showing upcoming interesting events in Koahaiung. It was always relaxing to come back to the common room which had nice music playing and plenty of books to read. The rooms are very clean and are bigger than usual. The shower rooms and toilet were spotlessly clean also. The staff were great and friendly and were a wealth of local knowledge, They gave me a local map wit

One of the best hostels i have stayed in Taiwan. Absolutely number one choice in Kaohsiung. Friendly hosts, comfy places, relaxed atmosphere, a home away from home. What more can a traveller ask for? Would have stayed for few more days if time allowed.

If you are someone who has stayed in many typical hostels (dorm-bed hotel) and requires a unique touch, this is the place. I was impressed by its homy atmosphere and the unbeatable staff who's not over-trained to be a service robot. It's a stress-free and timeless space.

I was pleased with every aspect of the place: The owner showed very good taste on their interior design, the entire house was so lovely! Atmosphere here was warm and cozy. Rooms and bathrooms were kept spotless clean. The staff were extraordinarily kind and helpful. The immediate surrounding location was great especially if you're looking for something that is quiet and local. Love CHEZ KIKI!

It's my best stay ever in Taiwan. The accommodation was very clean and cozy and the location was good also. The staffs were nice and you are always welcome when you come to them. They provided every guest a free neighborhood map that guides you to some nice restaurants, bars, markets and other interesting spots Kaohsiung. That’s super helpful for a traveler who does not want to always follow the rules of LONELY PLANET. I saw the very different part of Kaohsiung and enjoyed it very much!
