hostel is great value for money. wifi did not work properly
It is true that the room was cheap and I would recomend it to a backpacker but the location of our room was a bit funky. It was sourunded by people sleeping on the floor and you could hear them walking around all the time, even at night. The toilet was also stinky. But a good value still.
You get what you pay for, 4 bucks for a room and it was clean and well located. Downside was it's not an easy place to meet other travellers as no common room and their English speaking ability was not great. Also br careful when you pay the bill, once they short changed me and the second time they "forgot" to take off my deposit. The tuk tuk driver "Bun" is brilliant, highly recommend doing one of his tours, he is fun, great English and tries to ensure you have a great day.
Pros: cheap room, free pick-up from the bus, near the market. Cons: Lee seemed put out by my request to get the room I booked after he tried to give me something else, no AC when it was suggested there would be, tons of random locals roaming around the hotel, room occupied by a multitude of insects, no toilet paper, no hot water, wires sticking out of the walls where fixtures had been removed, cheerless atmosphere, smelly sheets. Spend a few dollars more and stay somewhere else.
