I won't go to Getaway Hostel again!! It is cheap, but it is too old building which has problem with hot water. Also it's located in very upside of Chicago downtown so it'll take you 20 min to get downtown and loop. Moreover, they never came to clean the room even I booked private room. I stayed 5 nights at there, they cleaned the room just 1 day, even though after several my beggings. the location is good, close to CTA , bus stop and restaurants :)
However, they might need to improve the security... the door is open 24H, and anybody can get in...even at late night.... :S

This place is great-beds good, big community space with games tv, free internet kitchen vending machines-everthing. The showers I used were a little small, but staff were helpful and friendly. Good area-away from downtown but only one tran/bus ride away so very easy to get to.
