I really liked the free internet access and with having 6 computers everyone had the chance to go online. To sum it up everything was fine except the beds could have been little better I mean the matrass. Thx

Best. Hostel. Ever.

Bathrooms were yuck. Paint peeling, taps not working, curtains hardly cover the showers.

The price was awesome for the place, staff and service. The location is ok, I wish it could be closer to downtown, but it is good! Really enjoyed staying here! :D

It´s more a hotel than a hostel. You have everything you need in this place. Nice rooms, a big kitchen with new equipment. The staff is friendly and do everything for you. The only thing to mention is that it´s very crowded in the evening and you have no silence to cook or eat. Althoug if you are in special rooms the bathrooms are far away und you have to walk a lot in the night. But I would definetly come back and stay there again.

Better monitor the late night noise from people in common areas.

First of all, I would definitely go back. The location is very good, the staff is helpful, the hostel is a beautiful building in a beautiful neighborhood and not far from the Fullerton Station (easy access to and from the airport). The only two things I think need improvement: a) Wi-Fi is limited to the common area so forget checking your email or planning your trip in your room; b) I stayed in the fourth floor and the bathroom not only is in need of renovation but also wasn’t very clean.

Awesome hostel, really clean, the staff were really helpful, our room was doubled booked so they gave us a 4 person room for just the 2 of us at no extra cost. The location is about 30 minutes from downtown but close to some amazing restaurants, great bars and blues clubs. We will definitely use this place again in Chicago. I use hostels a lot and this is one of the best ones I've ever stayed in.

Good place on the whole a really nice hostel! apart from the asian girl on reception when i arrived was very rude and not helpful, i was left very offeded by this and actually had to question her behaviour! thankfully it was just her as all of the other staff were excellent! they were very helpful and knowledgable about the area! really good social environment would stay here again!

Excellent location, is excceptionally clean and efficient. Tne dorms where very comfortable and sheets and linen were already made up on the beds. There is a good breakfast. About every day are trips to amazingly fun and interesting places. I made many friends here because of the congenial atmosphere. The staff are so special. They are really your friends. They put together one of the best Thanksgiving dinners and were so helpful.I like them all. This may be the best hostel I have ever been in.

I was staying in one of the rooms with seven other girls. The room was by the elevator and you could here everybody who was passing the hall. I think you should make a signe that says for example after 10 am the people should be quit because the walls are very thin and you can hear everybody.

The unique thing that I didn't like was: You only can stay till 14 nights so that's was the problem because I would like to stay more. Getaway Hostel is very nice. There are a lot of restaurants, pubs and is a quite near from the train station (red and brown line). If you come to Chicago you should stay to Getaway Hostel.

Really good and convenient location, friendly staff, breakfast included is always a bonus.

Very good facility, room, receoption, common areas, breakfast, kitchen were great, the hostel is a 15minutes walk from the closest transport to downtown. The staying in the double room was good, except the unbearable cigarette smell in our room. It is a non smoking hostel so it should be prevented or at least checked if the tenants have been smoking in the room. It s basic diligence. And the men bathroom was a 5 minutes walk from our room.

Nothing happens to enjoy people in there! Only a bunch of people looking at their iPads, notebooks, etc.

This is an outstanding hostel that exceeds all expectations for cleanliness, security, reasonable rates, and professionalism of the staff! I have absolutely no problem recommending this hostel to friends I know, and would certainly stay here again as my first choice if I can't stay with friends who live in Chicago! ;)
