really enjoyed common area: much to do. Free wifi in the lobby. Reception works 24 hours - great deal as my arrival was at ~ 0.30 a.m. Nothing is told about additional taxes to the price - not pleasant news for me: I had to pay ~ 40 USD more than I expected to do. For the same price of a private double room (including taxes) there is a possibility to book a 3* hotel in the Loop.

I can honestly say its probably the nicest hostel I have ever stayed at and very well priced. The facilities from pool/foosball tables to computers and free printing and a fully decked out clean modern kitchen as well as plenty of other stuff, I can't think of anything it did'nt have.

Great loacation, facilities, breakfast, staff. Not too much character though - a bit like an HI. Also, for some reason you have to walk through the lobby/common room to get to the bathroom.

Very nice hostel, very big and quite modern. My only shock was when I saw what I believe is very "American" and is the huge waste of resources, mainly water and energy. While in Europe corridor lights are turned off during night using motion detectors to switch lights on and off (thus saving so much energy), in this hostel the lights are on whole night. People also let water run from water tap so long, even if not necessary (while shaving, brushing teeth). So I had to laugh when the hostel write

This was one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in... It was super clean, staff were very helpful and friendly, and all of the facilities were excellent. The location in Lincoln Park was lovely and getting on the train to get to downtown was no problem at all. The only thing that would improve this hostel is if the beds had 'privacy booth's, ie, a little booth at the head of the bed with a private lamp and some power points.

One thing I would recommend, and that I think is a good thing for all hostels to have, is lighting for each separate bed (a wall lamp maybe). Central lighting never a good idea in a dorm when people are coming in at different times of the night.

A beautiful building in a residential area of the city, yet plenty of young people around. Clean facilities and free internet.

I just can believe how amazing was the saff considering that people staying at the hostel, were for most of them, mommy's child and behaved like typical selfish and self centered person. Thank you very much to all the staff and keep up the good work.

The best hostel I ever seen, great staff, very good breakfast and a huge kitchen. I stayed in a female dorm, ensuite. The room was big with every comfort. The location is very nice, in a nice residential area not far from downtown.

Brilliant place. The breakfast is great, the facilities are great, friendly staff, excellent value, great atmosphere. The hostel is located close to a good shopping and restaurant area, but you'll need to catch a 15 minute bus/train to go downtown.

A great hostel and the staff are always friendly. FREE BBQ NIGHT, FREE INTERNET AND PRINTING. The negative's are its a little bit away from the centre of things and they advertise a tours desk and didn't know about a simple tour I wanted and I had to find it elsewhere. All in all though its a very nice place and I would recommend it.

Great hostel, helpful staff, easy access to computers/internet. Good sized rooms, cheap :) A little hard to find, but once you're there it's fine.

What an amazing hostel! When we arrived we thought we were at a hotel. It was extremely clean and the facilities were amazing. We had a private room and to have a double bed instead of bunk beds was brilliant. It is in a great location with access to the beach and links to the tubes system for downtown. We went on the blues bar trip on the Monday which we would definitely recommend. All in all a great experience!
