Definitely a welcome change from the grungy hostels that are on offer with sometimes less than acceptable forms of accommodation. It seems like you're staying at a hotel without the zeros on the end of your bill. Great continental breakfast in the morning, helpful, polite and knowledgeable staff, spacious and clean rooms and good social vibe in the hostel with a pool table, foosball and the grand piano. Great location too. Definitely the best hostel I've stayed in for a long time.

This has to be one of the best hostels I have stayed in during my travels to the USA, Australia and New Zealand. It was clean, well organised, friendly and well set out. Little things had been thought of which made using the kitchen and communial areas so much easier. Providing plastic containers for food and having a free breakfast which had staff working on it was great! The atmosphere was brilliant and everyone felt at home straight away. I was very impressed!

Information and recommendations about restaurants and other local amenities was excellent and much appreciated, excellent level of preparedness and facilities at the hostel. The Bathroom was mostly clean, apart from the poorly attached fly curtain that meant the sinks filled with dead mosquitoes, room was excellent and very comfortable. Although I didn't have need of one, it was not immediately clear where lockers could be found.

A little bit far away from downtown chicago but not a big deal since is only 15´ by train, and it works the 24hs. The hostel itself is great, lots of turist, great party/chillout atmosphere. I would definately stay there again!

Best Hostel I ever stayed in, whish I had known that place on former stays in Chicago! This is what a hostel should be like! Only minus: if you have to use the shared bathroom you really have to walk far/through many doors to get there. rather annoying espc. at night!

Perfectly adequate hostel, although it seems expensive for what you get. Odd floor plan (for some dorms men need to walk through the lobby/reception area, where everyone's chilling out, in order to reach their shower.) Most European hostels put locks on their lockers -- isn't it time for this hostel to do the same, considering we're paying more here than we would in Europe?

The hostel was a nice surprise! Very clean, in a beautiful neighborhood with a walking distance to the subway, the lincoln park and surrounded by good places to eat. The more security hostel that I`ve ever been. Good breakfast. They took me to a blues bar one night and it was great.

This hostel is definitely one of the top 3 hostels i've stayed at during my last 5 month of travelling. Great and enough stuff, good organization, clean (you even get fresh towels every day for free), great breakfast (fruits, bagels, toasts, cerials, coffee, tea as much as you want), huge common areas, 6 free PCs... Location is nice and you feel safe but it takes you 30 min to the loop (which is ok, cause the subway and buses are very frequent). Thanks! :-) Negative: doors need oil in LL ;-)
