A family owned business. Nothing to really complain about. I paid a little to much, but that was because I booked through the internet. I met some great people in the hostel and we spended the nights playing cards and having drinks. Don't buy your beers at the reception, they are expensive 2USD and not really fresh. There is a little and friendly mercado next to the hostel. It is not to far from the old center, but beware at night, the area is not the safest.

Great location. Clean. Friendly staff. I would stay again. Not sure what the difference is for Deluxe room. Probably wouldn't pay the extra. Room was very basic.

I originally booked for two days and ended up spending six. Staff was friendly and helpful, very clean throughout the hostal. Excellent breakfast at a great value served on a beautiful rooftop terrace. As some reviewers had mentioned previously in the reviews I read, the street rooms can be a little noisy, but for the price of the room and the other things the hostal offers you can't go wrong. I took advantage of the offered laundry service and it was good too. All I can say is I will go back!

Shared bathrooms should get soap, in my opinion. Are there any rooms with windows? I couldn't tell the difference between night and day from inside my room. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall, good value for the money, but if you have more money, get a better place.

In the Chicago hostel you can only stay into the reception-room until 10pm. After it's close. The kitchen you can not use during the braekfast whitch ist exactly on 8.30 not later. The kitschen is on the top. It's a beautifoul view but open and could be wet and cold. The staffs give the informations whats necessairy but its not as kindly and open. It's clean, cheap an close to the city (old town).

Nice hostel with friendly staff unless of the guy who runs the travel agency at the hostel. He is uninterested and unfriendly.

Good location close to the old town. Short cab ride (2-3 USD) to the nightlife. Suggestion: Get sunbeds on your roof-terrace ;-).
