Very good atmosphere to know people and make partys. Rooms are not very clean, and defintely without good ventilation for a overcrowded room.

We didn't manage to check in to this hostel as the female staff messed up our booking and ended up we have to find the another one hostel to stay, their only refund 10% deposit and we had to spend more money to find the other location. very disappointed as we have spent our time to reach the hostel and thought all arrangements were arranged nicely but it did not.

It's a very neat hostel with good prices, Nice rooms and a friendly staff. The receptionist is a funny guy with his own travel agency where you can get the best travels for the best prices. Also he is a German fan so it's definitely a place to go for Germans

on arrival we was given a free upgrade from a 8 bed to a 4 bed with a balcony .. this was great untill we wanted to extend, we was told we had to pay the full price if we wanted to stay in the same room. never had this before so was rather annoying. we had to move rooms to pay the same price which was annoying because we didnt ask to be put in a smaller room. kitchen was under renovation but never went in it so cant comment on that .. was always really busy.

greeted by a woman in a track suit who spoke little English, so this made checking in difficult. After we fought our way through the smoke from the people hovering at the door, we found our room, and struggled to get in! We had booked a double private room, which looked nothing like the pictures of other rooms on the website. The room stank of cigarettes and was crawling with bugs, the hallways were filthy, infested and filthy 'kitchen'. We walked out and refused to stay. DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!!!

Bathroom's were dirty and not very many for the floor, and it was insanely loud during the night. Didn't love the location. We were going to check out at 8am (when the hostel opened), and there was no one there and we weren't able to get our key deposit back.

We were totally disgusted at this hostel. Having backpacked through Asia we thought we could handle most kinds of hostels and in OZ won't have a problem. This was the first place we stayed in OZ and thought it was the worst place we've stayed on entire trip! We ignored the bad reviews thinking it couldn't be that bad, but it really is, there are cockroaches everywhere. Not to mention the staff are the least helpful people we've had to deal with. Only good thing was the free breakfast and wifi.
